Quick Start Guide

Introduction.

Thank you for choosing midi plus Wind, this is an electric wind instrument inspired by Soprano Recorder. Including Soprano Recorder, Hulusi, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Soprano Sax, Bamboo Flute, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, and Suona total 10 tones. Built-in 2W high fidelity speaker and 800mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery allow you to play anytime and anywhere. Based on a Soprano Recorde’s fingering, sensitivity adjustable breath sensor and transposing features, make it easier for you to get started. In addition, you can connect to iOS or macOS through the low latency wireless MIDI to play with your favorite Apps and DAWs. Before you start playing, please read this document carefully to help you quickly understand the function of the Wind and the basic operation.

How to Use

  1. Place the included removable silicone mouthpiece over the Wind mouthpiece
  2. Long press the Power switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on the power
  3. Use the Volume buttons to adjust the appropriate volume
  4. Connect your headphone as necessary
  5. Play the Wind refer to the Fingering Chart
  6. Press the Tone button and then use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select 10 tones
  7. Press the Breath button and then use the Left and Right arrow buttons to adjust the sensitivity of the breath sensor
  8. Press the Fingering button and then use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select the 2 kinds of Fingering Chart
  9. Press the Transpose button and then use the Left and Right arrow buttons to set the transpose
  10. Long press the Bluetooth button for 0.5 seconds to turn on Bluetooth, the backlit will blink
  11. Go to the Setting menu in iOS Apps to pair with your smartphone, take the “Garageband” as an example, go to the Setting – Advanced – Bluetooth MIDI Device, find the “Wind” in the Devices list, and tap to pair when the Bluetooth button backlit changes to steadily lit, the connection is completed.

Cautions

  • This product built-in rechargeable lithium battery, which can provide up to 3 hours of normal performance when it is fully charged.
  • When the battery power is low, the power LED will blink rapidly and will turn off after 3 minutes (unless a power supply is connected).
  • Continual use of the product while the battery power is low may impair its performance and can decrease the life- a span of the battery. Please connect and charge the Wind with a suitable power supply immediately.
  • While the Wind is charging, the power LED will blink slowly, and will change to steadily lit once the Wind is fully charged.
  • To save power, the Wind will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of no operation.
  • Unplug the charging cable when the Wind will not be used for a long period of time or during a thunderstorm.
  • Do not disassemble, impact, squeeze or throw the battery. If there is serious expansion, please do not continue to use it.
  • Do not place the equipment at high temperatures, also if the battery leak, do not continue to use it.
  • Using the wrong type of battery will cause a risk of explosion. Be sure to dispose of the battery according to the instructions.
  • Please avoid using this product for children under three years old.
