SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read these instructions carefully before use.
- Never allow children, or anyone who is unfamiliar with the product and these instructions, to use it.
- Place the product out of the reach of children on a level, stable surface near a suitable power point.
- set the temperature control in position o and pull out the plug before cleaning when the product is not in use.
- If the power cord or plug are damaged, they must be replaced by an authorised service centre to ensure safe use.
- Pull out the plug to cut off the power supply to the product. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
- Never put food directly on the hob, use a suitable pan.
- Make sure that the pan does not stick outside the hob or stick out over the controls.
- The product is only intended for household use. Do not use the product outdoors, or for commercial purposes. Never use the product for anything other than the purpose it was designed for.
- Do not immerse the product, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquid -Risk of electric shock.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.
- Never leave the product unattended when switched on.
- Never leave oil or fat unattended on the product when it is hot – Fire risk.
- The product is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.
- Do not put the product on or near a hot stove or in a hot oven.
- Do not use an extension cord.
- Do not dismantle the product or attempt to modify or repair it – Risk of electric shock.
- Do not put the product near flammable objects, curtains or furniture – Fire risk.
- Never use the product where there is insufficient ventilation (for example, in a cupboard or on a shelf). Pull out the plug and wait until the product has cooled before putting it away.
- The product must only be connected to a correctly earthed power point.
- Do not use the product continuously for more than one hour.
- The product gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – Risk of burns.
- This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.

HOW TO USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Remove all packaging material.
- Before using for the first time heat the hobs at the highest temperature for a few minutes to burn off any residue from the manufacturing. The product may smoke and smell a little, but this is completely normal and soon stops.
WARNING! This is the only situation in which the hobs should be warmed up without a pan.
HOW TO USE
- Place a suitable pan on the hob.
- Turn the temperature control to the required temperature.
- After use, set the temperature control in position o and pull out the plug.
NOTE:
- The power light goes off when the set temperature is reached.
- Both hobs may be used at the same time. Make sure that the pan handle does not stick out over the other hob.
IMPORTANT:
- Use pans with a thick, smooth bottom, with a diameter of approx. 15 to 17 cm and a volume of max. 1 litre.
- Do not use pans with a diameter smaller than the hob.
- Make sure that the pan does not stick outside the hob or stick out over the controls.
- Do not use pans that do not have a smooth, flat bottom.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Pull out the plug and wait until the product has cooled before cleaning.
- Wipe the enamel surface of the product with a soft, damp cloth.
- Remove any encrusted scraps with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
- Wipe with a soft cloth.
NOTE Use oven detergent to preserve the appearance of the hobs.
WARNING!
- Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
STORAGE
- Pull out the plug and allow the product to cool.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
