Safety instructions
-
Never allow persons who are not familiar with these instructions to use the fruit chopper.
-
Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator – not suitable for use by children.
-
Do not operate this fruit chopper in the vicinity of bystanders. The user is responsible for accidents or hazards that occur to other persons or their property.
-
Do not allow hands, other body parts, or clothing to get into the housing, the funnel, or near a moving part.
-
Safety goggles must be worn when operating the fruit chopper.
-
Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing or jewellery. They can be caught by moving parts and cause serious injuries.
-
Only operate the fruit chopper on a firm and level surface.
-
Before putting the fruit chopper into operation, make sure that all screws, nuts, bolts, sieves, and other fastening elements are properly secured. Replace damaged or illegible warning and operating signs.
-
Make sure that the housing is empty.
-
Keep your face and body away from the filler opening.
-
Do not stoop down too far. Ensure a safe stand and keep your balance. Never stand higher than the base of the fruit chopper when inserting material.
-
Always keep clear of the discharge area when operating the fruit chopper.
-
When feeding in material, make sure that it does not contain any metal parts, stones, bottles, cans, or other foreign objects.
-
ALWAYS pull out the plug ◦ when the device is unattended or being transported;
◦ before you remove blockages;
◦ before checking, cleaning, or working on the fruit chopper in any other way;
◦ after a foreign object has got inside – then check the fruit chopper for damage and have it repaired if necessary;
◦ if the fruit chopper starts to vibrate unusually or makes unusual noises (check immediately). -
If the cutting mechanism hits foreign objects or if the fruit chopper makes unusual noises or vibrations, ◦ check for damage,
◦ replace or repair damaged parts, ◦ check if any parts are loose and tighten them. -
Do not attempt to repair the fruit chopper unless you are able to do so. Ensure that processed material does not accumulate in the ejection area; this can prevent proper emptying and lead to the material being pushed back through the feed opening.
Electric safety
- Connect the mains cable to a normal 230 V/50 Hz power supply using an appropriately fused plug. If the plug is damaged, it must be disposed of to avoid the risk of electric shock and must never be used elsewhere. Your fruit chopper is double insulated for safety reasons and does not require an earth connection. The operating voltage is 230 V at 50 Hz.
- Extension cable: The cable type used must be two-core and double-insulated and have a crosssection of 3×1.0 mm². Contact an electrician if you are unsure.
Operation
-
Place the device on a firm and level surface or, if necessary, on a work surface and connect it to the power supply via a residual current circuit breaker (RCD).
-
Place a collecting container, e.g., a barrel or box, under the outlet opening to collect chopped fruit. Then start the device by pressing ON. When the device is running at full speed, you can feed the material into the hopper. DO NOT apply excessive force!
Important!
◦ Start the device FIRST and only add the fruit AFTER the machine has been put into operation. Attention! The cutting blades pull the material into the machine independently.
◦ NEVER push material into the funnel with your hands.
◦ The material must be dimensioned so that it can easily enter the hopper.
◦ If the machine is clogged and no longer ejects anything, switch it off IMMEDIATELY and unplug it. -
The material in the pipe must be removed using industrial gloves. Make sure that you do not come into contact with the blade and use a stick if necessary.
-
Make sure that all parts are properly fastened before connecting the device to the mains and switching it on again.
Cleaning and maintenance

Maintenance is limited to keeping the system clean and free from corrosion
caused by the malic acid contained in the juice.
- Dry the machine after cleaning to prevent rust from forming.
