DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

  •  This appliance can be used by children 8 years old and over, and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided their use is supervised or they have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Packing materials are not toys. Children must not play with the packaging materials. There is a suffocation risk.
  • This appliance is only to be used with the provided USB power cable.
  •  This appliance is only to be used with a SELV (safe extra-low voltage) wall adapter that is compatible with the electrical ratings marked on the appliance label. Any external power supply used with this product must comply with the relevant regulations and standards applicable in the respective country of use.
  • Always unplug the appliance fully before cleaning or carrying out any other maintenance.
  • Never plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands, as this may led to electrical shock. Never allow to let water or any other liquid enter the appliance, in order to prevent possible electric shock and/or a short circuit.
  • Never insert any metal or other foreign objects into the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance if the USB power cable or the appliance itself is damaged.
  • The filter has a built-in high-voltage negative ion generator. Never attempt to disassemble this device or modify it in any manner.
  • Never operate the appliance when not fully assembled.
  • Do not cover the air inlet or outlet.

This appliance is intended only for indoor use.

CAUTION! This symbol highlights dangerous situations which may lead to minor to moderate injuries, damage, malfunction and/or destruction of the appliance. To prevent harm or damage from happening to us-ers or others, make sure to comply with the following requirements.

  • Do not use this appliance in a space treated with insect repellent, lest it be stored inside the appliance to be released at a later time. This is a health hazard. Make sure to ventilate the space before turning on the appliance.
  • This appliance is not a ventilator – do not use it in smoke-filled rooms such as kitchens. This product is not intended to filter oil or grease from the air.
  • Never insert any flammable materials and/or lit cigarettes into the appliance to avoid a fire hazard.
  • Do not use the appliance in high-humidity or high-temperature environments such as bathrooms.
  • Keep the appliance away from any flammable materials such as insecticide or air freshener, in order to avoid electric shock, short circuit, or fire.
  • When using the appliance near fire, make sure to ventilate the space to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • Always unplug the appliance by the cable plug and never by the cable itself, to prevent short circuit, ca-ble damage, electric shock or fire.
  • Make sure to unplug the appliance if any of the following occurs:
    • The appliance does not work.
    • The USB power cable or plug is abnormally hot.
    • A peculiar smell, noise or vibration is detected.
    • Any other abnormality or failure.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Switch the product off and remove all plugs before cleaning!
  • When cleaning the components, do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or materials such as scouring milk or steel wool. These could damage the surface of the appliance!
  • Protect the motor unit from water drops and water spray.
  • Only use a clean, dry cloth to clean the motor unit, and never any corrosive liquids. Use a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent to remove stubborn dirt.
  • Make sure no moisture enters the product during cleaning, to prevent damage to the product and related repairs.

STORAGE

  • Allow the device to cool down completely before storing it.
  • When no longer using the device, store it in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
  • Store your device inside the original case provided.

INSTRUCTIONS

How to use:

  • Connect the appliance to a power supply using the included USB cable.
  • Once powered, use the button to turn the device on and off.
  • It is recommended to replace both.
    • Open the back cover.
    • Remove the old filters.
    • Place the replacement filters in the correct order: the activated carbon filter first, then the HEPA filter.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Some issues that arise may be solved by the user. If the problem persists after having tried the following solutions, please contact Prozis customer service.

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The power indicator light is off. The power connection is faulty. Check the

power cable and the device input for defects. You can also try to use a different USB power source, such as a PC.
The filter is not working| The device is in standby mode.| Press the function button to turn the filter on.
The button does not respond to my touch.| There may be a power issue.| Check the power supply for any possible interference, and reconnect the power.
The air does not seem to be filtered properly.| Something is blocking the air passage, or the filters have reached the end of their lifetime.| Check if something is blocking the air inlet or outlet, and if that is the case, remove it. If this does not solve the problem, replace the filters by new ones.

Warranty statement

All electrical and electronic products commercialized by Prozis via www.prozis.com are covered by the warranty applicable to the purchase and sale of consumer goods.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS This document contains the terms and conditions of Prozis’ warranty for final consumers. This warranty is valid exclusively for consumers who purchase the product for non-profession-al purposes.

WARRANTY PERIOD Prozis guarantees the product is to remain free from material and production defects for a 2-year period, counting from the date of initial purchase by a consumer and respective delivery, or for longer if legally established by the applicable national law. In the event that repair is required, this 2-year period is suspended during repair time.
CONSUMABLES The gradual performance decrease caused by prolonged use of the product’s consumable components, such as batteries, is not covered by this warranty unless the malfunction is caused by faulty design, materials or production.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM If the need arises to exercise the rights conceded to you through this warranty, please contact Prozis customer service via the communication channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the provided instructions or recommendations. Contact and technical assistance information is also provided at the end of this warranty.
Any claims made regarding this warranty will only be valid if proof of purchase is presented by the original customer. This proof of purchase may be the original invoice or receipt, as long as it includes information regarding the date of purchase and the product’s model name.
WARRANTY REPAIRS Any repairs made under this warranty cannot be made by third parties. This warranty does not apply to any repairs, or damage caused directly by such repairs, that have impacted or caused the damage that is the subject of the respective warranty claim.

EXCLUSIONS The following situations are not covered by this warranty:

  1. Any wear and tear of parts and components resulting from normal product use.
  2. Cracks, dents, scratches, and other types of superficial damage that only affect the product’s appearance.
  3. Any malfunction caused by inappropriate use of the product that does not comply with user manual instructions.
  4. Use and storage of the product not complying with user manual instructions.
  5. Opening of the product by a third party who is not authorized to proceed to its repair.
  6. Altering or changing parts or components, whether internal or external.
  7. Damage caused by battery leakage resulting from the breaking of any of its components, or from product misuse.
  8. Malfunction or damage due to reasons that cannot be ascribed to the production or design of the product.
  9. Use of the product in the context of a business, occupation or commerce.
  10.  Malfunction due to use that does not comply with the technical or security norms in force, or with user manual instructions.

The services provided by Prozis in order to repair or fix any fault or malfunction resulting from the verification of any of the aforementioned excluded situations will be subject to payment of labor, transport and component costs.
The customer shall bear all risks of loss and damage to the product during transportation to Prozis. This warranty will be void if the returned product arrives with labels or stickers that have been removed, damaged, tampered with or modified in any way.

LIMITED RESPONSIBILITY Prozis cannot be held responsible for indirect damage or loss due to usage of the product.
