Precautions

1. Disconnect the product from the charger after charging.
2. Charge and discharge once every 3 months to keep the battery active.

Moreover, follow shooting function provides users with a good live streaming experience, making live streaming feasible by one person.
With the BaseusControl APP, you can also experience a variety of photography functions such as motion lapse, smart follow, object tracking, panoramic shooting and so on.

Download the APP in APP Store/Android Store or by scanning the QR code below to download and install the APP.
BaseusControl APP supports iOS 10.0 or above and Android 6.0 or above.

Gimbal charging

1. Connect the USB to Type-C charging cable with the gimbal and USB charger for charging. The charging time is about 3.5 hours (using a 10W charger);
2. The lights flash one by one when charging, and turn off when full charged.

Check the battery level through the lights:

• Three lights on: 80%-100%
• Two lights on: 40%-80%
• One light on: 10%-40%
• One light flashes: below 10%, please charge

Preparation

Opening and storage
As shown in the figure, hold the handle in your left hand and rotate the arm backward 180 degrees with your right hand, and when you hear a “click” sound, it opens completely.
After use, rotate the arm 180 degrees in the opposite direction, and when you hear a “click” sound, it folds for storage.*The product must be off for opening and storage.

Operation instructions

Power on

1. Rotate to open BaseusControl Folding Gimbal Stabilizer;
2. Install your phone on the phone clip;
3. Long press the power button for 3 seconds to power on.

Note: Clamp the clip on 5mm above the middle of the phone. (maintain good balance) As shown in the figure, hold the handle in your left In addition, make sure that the phone lens is on the left side of the phone clip

Connect APP
Power on the gimbal – turn on the phone Wireless – open the BaseusControl APP – search the gimbal Wireless and connect the gimbal.

Operation guide
Full follow mode is power on default mode (green light on). The lens moves slowly following the movement of the handle to the left and right, up and down. This mode is for beginners to control the movement of the image by controlling the rotation of the handle for smooth shoot.
You can also manually push the joystick up and down, left and right to control the smooth movement of the lens.

Shot modes

For different angles of photography, there are several handheld methods as follows.

Standard Mode
Place BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer on the desktop with the handle perpendicular to the desktop and power on to use normally.

Underslung Mode
Hold the handle of BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer upside down to enter underslung mode. This mode is used for low-angle near-ground following shot.

Automatic Inception Mode
after triple press the power button, the lens will automatically rotate. Meanwhile, the photographer holds BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer running forward to shoot. The image will present an inception effect.

The modes and light status of gimbal stabilizer and the operation methods are as follows.

Gimbal calibration

If there is an angle deviation after power on, please place the phone on the gimbal in the correct way, open the Wireless and connect the APP, then press “icon”-other functions-initialize the sensor when the gimbal remains stationary. Click calibration and wait for 15 seconds. The gimbal will automatically calibrate and enter sleep mode during this period. Restart it after 15 seconds.

Instructions for connecting to phone camera

1. Install your phone on BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer and turn it on;

2. Go to Wireless settings of your phone, search the Wireless name of “BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer” (as shown in figure), and press “Connect”;
   Note: From the second use, Wireless will be automatically connected by default after power on.

3. The phone camera can be used for photography. The control commands are as follows.

Firmware Over The Air

BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer can be upgraded through BaseusControl app.
How to upgrade
Before upgrading, please check the battery percentage of BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer, make sure at least two battery level indicators are on. After connecting Wireless, press “Firmware Over The Air” in the settings on the left side of the app to start the upgrade, there is a progress bar to show the upgrade progress. During the upgrade process, you cannot exit the app or go to the background operation. After successful upgrade, BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer will automatically power off, you need to manually power it on for use. If the upgrade fails, please restart BaseusControl Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer and app, and connect Wireless and upgrade again.

Safe operation guidelines

1. The product should not in contact with any liquid. Never immerse the product in water or wet it. Do not use the product in the rain or humid environments. Corrosion reactions may occur after water goes into the product, which may cause battery spontaneous combustion and may even cause an explosion;
2. If the product is on fire, use a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, water, water mist, sand, fire blanket and dry powder immediately to put out the fire. Please select the fire extinguishing method in the recommended sequence above according to the actual situation;
3. Use the product in the environment between 0℃ and 40℃;
4. Do not disassemble the product in any way. If the battery is punctured during disassembly, it will cause the leakage of the electrolyte inside the battery, and even trigger a fire or explosion;
5. Do not impact mechanically, grind or throw the product. Do not place heavy objects on the product;
6. Do not heat the product. Do not place the product in a microwave oven or pressure cooker;
7. Do not place the product near the heat source (stove or heater, etc.) or place it in a car in the hot weather. Do not store the product in an environment over 60℃. The ideal storage environment temperature is 22℃ to 30℃;
8. Do not store the battery for a long time after the battery is completely discharged to avoid the battery entering the over-discharge state and causing damage to the battery cell, which will not be able to reuse.

Notice

1. BaseusControl Smartphone Handheld Folding Gimbal Stabilizer stabilizer is a high-precision control device. Damage may be caused to BaseusControl if it is dropped or subject to external force, and this may result in malfunction;
2. Make sure the rotation of the gimbal axes is not blocked by external force when BaseusControl is turned on;
3. BaseusControl is not waterproof. Prevent contacts of any kind of liquid or cleaner with BaseusControl. It is recommended to use dry cloth for cleaning;
4. Protect BaseusControl from dust and sand during use.
