Helpful Tips for Usage
- When the original cartridge becomes depleted, do not immediately click the OK button to change the cartridge. Instead, press the cancel button first and then press the flashing button/light on the printer for a few seconds. This helps reduce recognition issues.
- Ensure that you have the correct ink cartridge model that is compatible with your printer before installation. Using wrong models may cause compatibility problems.
- If your printer displays a message stating that the cartridge cannot be recognized, switch off the printer at the mains or unplug it for 30 seconds. This action clears the printer’s memory and allows it to reset for the new cartridges. Do not just press the On/Off switch on the printer itself.
- If the above step does not work, try removing all the ink cartridges, closing all flaps and lids, then turning off the printer at the mains or unplugging it for 5 minutes. Clean the cartridge chip with an eraser or wipe it with a soft cloth. Then, turn the printer on and reinstall the ink cartridges.
- Ensure that the cartridges are firmly seated by giving them another little push on the top of each one.
