User Guide

  1. Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on or near the turntable.
  2. Keep away from dripping or splashed liquids do not place drinks on the unit.
  3. The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperatures, moisture, strong magnetic fields high frequencies and dusty environments.
  4. Always leave sufficient space around the unit for ventilation.
  5. Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the unit. To clean, wipe with a clean soft cloth. To clean your vinyl records, gently wipe the surface in a circular motion using a soft anti-static Cloth.
  6. Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or opening of the unit.
  7. Do not disassemble or modify the unit, there are no user serviceable parts apart from the stylus which should be replaced when worn.
  8. If the turntable is damaged or malfunctions do not use. Consult a qualified service engineer.
  9. Always use the power adaptor suppled if you need to replace it make sure the replacement has the same power rating.
  10. Do not move the unit while a record is playing or the pick up arm is unsecured.
  11. This product contains a built-in Li-ion battery. It must be used and charged properly. Improper use can cause the battery to catch fire or explode resulting in serious or fatal injury.
  12. This product contains a Li-ion battery and should be disposed of appropriately. Do not dispose of it with household waste at the end of its life cycle; hand it over to a collection centre for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances with batteries. Please check with your Local Authority for recycling advice.

Setting up and operating your turntable

  1.  Remove the unit from all packaging and place on a stable level surface, then remove any tape or wire holding parts of the turntable in position.
  2.  Plug the jack plug from the power adaptor supplied into the DC IN socket (23) on the back of the turntable housing then plug the power adaptor into a three pin mains socket and switch the socket on. The adaptor will power the turntable and also charge the BT speaker at the same time.
  3.  Remove the protective Stylus Guard from the tone arm cartridge (12) by gently pulling it forwards.
  4.  Lift the tone arm (6) and fold down the standby clip (4).
  5.  Place the tone arm (6) on the tone arm rest (5).
  6.  Turn the mode selector switch (15) to the PH ONO position (the mode LED (14) will light up Red).
  7.  Adjust the volume to a low/mid level using the volume +/- buttons (10 & 11).
  8.  Carefully place a record/disc on the platter/ turntable (1).
  9.  Turn the Speed selector switch (16) to the correct speed (33, 45 or 78 rpm) for the disc you want to play.
  10. Make sure the Auto stop button (21) is in the On position.
  11. . Lift the tone arm (6) and place the stylus at the start of the record, the turntable will start spinning automatically, gently lower the tone arm.
  12.  Adjust the volume to your preferred level using the volume+/- buttons (9&10).
  13. . When the disc has finished playing the turntable will stop turning automatically, lift the tone arm and return it to the tone arm rest (5).
  14.  To stop manually lift the tone arm and return it to the tone arm rest (5). The turntable will stop turning automatically. If you want to stop the turntable without moving the tone arm turn the mode selector switch (15) to the OFF position.

PLEASE NOTE: When you are not using the turntable to play vinyl records we recommend you replace the stylus cover and unfold the tone arm standby clip (4) and clip the tone arm to it to protect the stylus and tone arm.

Auto-Stop switch operation

Some records may have an auto-stop area outside the pre-set limit, so the turntable stops before the last track finishes. If this happens, set the AUTO­STOP switch (21) to the OFF position. This will allow the record to play to the end, but please note that it will not stop automatically. You must manually raise the tone arm and place it back in the rest and then turn the AUTO-STOP switch (21) back ON to stop the turntable from spinning.

Spindle adaptor

Some 45rpm records may have had their centres pressed out for playing on a juke box. Place the adaptor on the spindle to play these records.

Operating your Bluetooth Speaker

  1.  Turn the mode selector switch (15) to the BT position. The turntable mode LED (14) will change to Blue and the BT status LED (7) will flash Blue to indicate that the speaker is in “pairing” mode
  2.  Place the unit and Bluetooth device no further than 1m apart and activate the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device.
  3.  Select “BT Turntable” on the Bluetooth device list.
  4. Once paired successfully, you will hear a chime and the BT status LED (7) will stay lit Blue continuously.
  5.  You can now start to stream audio from your device to the speaker via Bluetooth™.
  6.  Long press Volume+ (10) to increase volume, short press to skip to next track, long press Volume – (11) to reduce volume, short press to skip to the previous track.
  7.  Short press button (9) to Pause/Play a BT track, long press to disconnect from a connected device, long press again to reconnect to the last device connected.

Standalone Operation
Press button (8) to switch the BT speaker On/Off. Follow steps 2-7 as above to operate. Connect the USB charging socket (19) to a powered USB socket with a micro USB cable (not supplied) to charge the speaker when it is detached.
Reattaching the speaker to the turntable
Line up the arrows on the speaker and turntable when you reattach the speaker, and the magnetic plug (20) on the speaker will snap into the magnetic socket on the turntable, make sure it is a firm connection.
Auxillary Input

  1. Connect the line out or headphone socket of your audio device to the 3.5mm Aux In socket (13) using a suitable cable(not supplied). Turn the mode selector switch (15) to Aux, the Mode LED (14) will change to Purple.
  2. Control the volume level using the speaker volume controls (10 & 11) (or a combination of the speaker controls and the Aux device volume controls). Operate all other functions on the auxiliary device as usual.

Using headphones
If you wish to listen in private to the detatched speaker you can use the headphone socket (18). Line out connection You can play the output from your turntable system over an external stereo Hi-Fi system or amplifier by connecting the RCA/Phono LINE-OUT sockets (22) to the auxiliary input jacks on your stereo or amplifier
