INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
PacLights ﬁ xtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.

WARNINGS:

Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining ﬁ xture. No user serviceable parts inside.
To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sharp objects.

CAUTION:
For proper weatherproof function all gaskets must be seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened ﬁ rmly. Apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the edge of the Back Box and/or Junction Box. This is especially important with an uneven wall surface. Silicone all plugs and unused conduit entries.

FLHQ FIELD ADJUSTABLE CCT (Correlated Color Temperature)
The CCT Switch is available and located on the side of the FLHQ ﬁ xture. Remove the Cover from the side of the FLHQ ﬁ xture. The Tunable CCT allows the user to choose one of the desired color temperatures 4000K/5000K (Fig. 1). PacLights-FLHQ-Series-LED-Compact-Linear-High-Bay-2 FLHQ FIELD ADJUSTABLE WATTAGE
The Adjustable Wattage Switch is located on the side of the FLHQ ﬁ xture with available wattages listed. Remove the Cover from the side of the FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 2). The Adjustable Wattage Switch allows the user to choose a desired wattage. The FLHQ Series has the following respective wattages: FLHQ – 130: 90/105/130W, FLHQ – 210: 155/180/210W, FLHQ – 310: 240/270/310W. PacLights-

WIRING DIAGRAM

Connect the ACL and the ACN from the FLHQ ﬁ xture to the conduit with the AC power Supply Cable. Follow the Wiring Diagram provided.

FLHQ AIRCRAFT CABLE MOUNT

The Cable Mount Kit includes Aircraft Cables (2). Wrap the two pieces of Cable around the Ceiling Beam and extend down to the required mounting height (Fig. 3).
Using the Aircraft Cable (Fixed Cable with tabs on both ends), insert the tabs into the FLHQ ﬁ xture holes on both sides (Fig. 4). Once the Tabs have been inserted, the FLHQ ﬁ xture will be safely secured for mounting (Fig. 5).
The mounting height of the FLHQ ﬁ xture is adjusted at the Cable Adjuster. This can be done by pushing in the Button on the Cable Adjuster to release the Adjustable Cable and then pulling the Short End Cable from the side of the Cable Adjuster to set the length of the Adjustable Cable that is suspended from the ceiling. Remove the Set Screw on the Cable Adjuster using an Allen wrench, insert the Fixed Cable inside the two slotted sides and fasten the Set Screw. This is to union the two Cables together (Fig. 6).

OPTIONAL FLHQ SURFACE HANGER MOUNT

WARNING! THE SURFACE HANGER MOUNT SHOULD ONLY BE MOUNTED TO A LEVEL SURFACE!

The Surface Hanger Mounts (2) are available for each FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 7). The following template is a detail of the Mounting Hole locations on the Surface Hanger Mount (Fig. 8).
Install the Surface Hanger Mounts (2) to a Level Mounting Surface/Ceiling with the Mounting Bolts (not included) (Fig. 9). Once the Surface Hanger Mounts are installed onto the Level Surface/Ceiling and properly secured, place Hooks through the holes on each side of the FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 10).
After the FLHQ ﬁ xture is properly secured into place, refer to the Wiring Diagram to install the ﬁ xture to an AC Power Supply. All connections must be made inside a J-Box (not included) (Fig. 11).
Surface Hanger Mounted FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 12).

OPTIONAL FLHQ 3/4” PENDANT MOUNT

Fasten the Surface Mounting Box to the top-center of the FLHQ ﬁxture by ﬁ tting the slots onto the Screws on each side. Tighten the Scews to hold the Surface Mounting Box into place to the Brackets on top of the FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 13).
Once the Surface Mounting Box is installed onto the ﬁ xture, fasten the Conduit Pendant Mount to the top from the knock-out hole using a Lock Nut that matches the thread on the Conduit. Run the AC Power Supply Cable down the Conduit and join the wires to the FLHQ Driver. The small FLHQ Cover Plate can be removed by removing one screw (Fig. 14). The Surface Mounting Box can be mounted directly to a Mounting Surface similar to the Hanger Mount (Refer to Fig. 7). The Mounting Surface does not have to be level.

OPTIONAL FLHQ – 130 / 210 CONVERSION KIT

The Conversion Kit converts two FLHQ – 130 / 210 ﬁ xtures into one ﬁ xture to reach the desired lumen output by aligning and fastening the Center Bracket to the top-ends of the two FLHQ ﬁ xtures (Fig. 15).

OPTIONAL FLHQ WIRE GUARD

The Wire Guards are in various sizes for the corresponding FLHQ ﬁ xture chosen (Fig. 16).
Use the Screws to fasten the Wire Guard into the holes located at each end of the ﬁ xture lens (Fig. 17).

OPTIONAL LIGHTING CONTROL

The FLHQ ﬁ xtures have an Optional Lighting Control Sensor that can be added. Unscrew and remove the Sensor Cap from the bottom of the ﬁ xture (Fig. 21).
FLHQ FIXTURE
The Lighting Control Sensor has a ‘Plug and Play’ Connector that inserts into the bottom of the FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 22).
Carefully screw the Lighting Control Sensor into the FLHQ ﬁ xture (Fig. 23).
