INSTALLATION GUIDE BW Series
Generation 2 LED Light Bulbs
IMPORTANT
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE.
PacLights fi fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical
Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety.
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION
CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT
AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
WARNINGS:
- Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fi fixture. No user-serviceable parts inside.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to the edges of sharp objects.
CAUTION:
- For proper weatherproof function, all gaskets must be seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened fi rmly. Apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the edge of the Back Box and/or Junction Box. This is especially important with an uneven wall surface. Silicone all plugs and unused conduit entries.
BW/2 INITIAL SET-UP
Remove the Compact Flourescent Light or Metal Halide bulb CCW (Fig. 1). For the CFL bulb, it is a direct replacement. The Metal Halide bulb, it requires the bypass of the Ballast, Capacitor, and Ignitor from the circuit. Refer to Wiring Diagram. If provided, use the Security Cable to fi x onto the BW/2 bulb Tab, and at the other end, fi x the Hook onto the Shell (Fig. 2).

Please make sure to bypass the Ballast (along with the Ignitor and Capacitor) before installing the BW/2 LED bulb!
OPTIONAL FIELD-SELECTABLE CCT (Correlated Color Temperature)
The Optional 3CCT Function is available for select models of the BW/2 Series. Use the Switch underneath the Plug Cover. Unscrew the Plug Cover (Fig. 3). If needed, use a fl head screwdriver. The CCT Switch allows the user to choose the desired color temperature of 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K (Fig. 4). After selecting the Color Temperature the BW/2 bulb is ready to install.
OPTIONAL SELECTABLE WATTAGE
The Optional Selectable Wattage is available for select models (27W -120W) of the BW/2 Series. Use the Switch underneath the Plug Cover. Unscrew the Plug Cover (Refer to Fig. 3). If needed, use a fl head screwdriver. Each of the select models has its own wattage range from low-medium-high where the user can make a selection.![PacLights BW027 BW Series Generation 2 LED Light Bulbs

OPTIONAL OCCUPANCY CONTROL
The Optional Occupancy Control is available for select models (80W/100W/120W) of the BW/2 Series. The Auxiliary (AUX) Port is underneath the Plug Cover. Unscrew the Plug Cover (Refer to Fig. 3). If needed, use a fl head screwdriver. The AUX Port is at the center of the top of the BW/2 bulb next to the Switches (Fig. 6).
Sensor Segmented Dimming is available when using either Optional Sensor. Prior to installing the PIR (Passive Infrared) or Microwave Motion Sensor, move the Wattage Switch to the fi texture’s highest wattage (Refer to Fig. 5). Install the Microwave Motion Sensor or the PIR by screwing it into the AUX Port and tighten carefully (Fig. 7).
