The Belkin INC004 also doubles as a laptop stand allowing you to neatly organize cables and connection ports in the back. The Belkin INC004 features a built-in USB-C cable for connecting to your laptop.

What are the power specifications of the Belkin INC004?
The Belkin INC004 supports up to 100W of USB-C PD power pass through. The dock requires a minimum 65W USB-C power supply be used with it. The dock requires 15W of power to operate. This means that the power supplied to your laptop will be 15W lower than the power input into the dock by your USB-C power supply.

How many USB ports are on the Belkin INC004?
The Belkin INC004 has the following USB ports:

  • One USB-C PD 3.0 port for connecting power to the dock (no data support)

Do I need any software to use the Belkin INC004?
Yes. The Belkin INC004 requires DisplayLink® drivers to use the monitor output functionality of the dock. You can find more information about DisplayLink here.

FUNCTIONALITY

How many monitors can I use with the Belkin INC004?
The Belkin INC004 can support up to three simultaneous monitor connections while using the dock. The number that can be used with your laptop depends upon the power of your computer and its graphics card capabilities. Not all computers have the graphics capabilities to support multiple monitors and may run into display issues when attempting to use multiple displays.

What resolutions does the Belkin INC004 support?
Supported maximum monitor resolutions depend upon the number of monitors being connected and used at the same time as well as the power of the computer. Check the tables below for supported resolutions of the Belkin INC004.

NOTE: The maximum number of displays supported by the dock is different than that of maximum number of displays supported by your computer. While the dock can support up to the resolutions and refresh rates listed above, your computer may not be able to  upport them. Check with your computer manufacturer for supported displays.

How many computers can I connect to the dock at the same time?

The Belkin INC004 can only be connected to one computer at a time.

Can I use the Belkin INC004 without a power supply?

The Belkin INC004 can be used without an external power supply but with limited functionality. The Belkin INC004 will draw all power from your computers USB-C port. While using your dock this way you will lose the ability to charge devices from the USB-C ports and may not be able to use multiple displays at the same time.

NOTE: The USB-C port on the Belkin INC004 is for power input only and cannot be used for data syncing or charging a device when not using an external power supply.
