The LC-display will light up and the default volume level »VOL 03« is shown. To switch the device off after use: Press the power button again for 3 seconds. The device will switch off.

Group selection

Switch the device on and press the MODE-button for 3 seconds.

Transmitters and receivers must be set to the same group number if they are to communicate with each other.

ID selection

Within a group, each TRX-1 needs to have a different ID from »00« to »99«. Every group must have a TRX-1 set to the master-ID »00«, which defines it as the master transmitter of the group. In this case, »MASTER« and »TALK« are indicated on the display. To set the ID, continue as follows:
On the powered-up device, press and hold the MODE-button for 3 seconds. The symbol »GRP« on the display will blink.
Press the MODE-button again. The symbol »ID« will start to blink. By using the »+« and »-« buttons, select an ID from 00 to 99, while taking care that each device within the group has its own number. After the selection, wait for 3 seconds to set the selected ID number.

Transmitting and receiving

The TRX-1 with the master-ID »00« is automatically enabled to transmit and receive.
To activate transmission on other TRX-1 within the group:
On the powered-up device, press the MUTE button for 2 seconds. »TALK« is indicated on the display and the device is ready to transmit. To end the transmission, press the MUTE button again for 2 seconds. »TALK« will disappear from the display and the device is set to reception only.
If a TRX-1 is only intended for reception, no further action is neccesary after switching it on.
Up to 3 devices can send at the same time: The master unit and 2 others.
Please note:
If transmission is activated on a further TRX-1, the first TRX-1 in the activation sequence loses its right to transmit. The master unit is not affected.

Volume up / down

The volume can be adjusted through 9 levels. On the powered-up device, press the »+« and »-« buttons to adjust the volume between 01 (low) and 09 (high) as desired.

Selecting »UH« can cause white noise and should only be used in loud environments. We recommend the default setting »UL«.

Power supply/recharge

The device has an installed rechargeable lithi-um-ion battery of 3,7 V / 1100 mAh.
To charge the battery, plug the USB charging cable into the USB jack of the TRX-1 and connect it to a regular USB port (computer, laptop, USB power supply).
The charging status LED is illuminated during recharge. The LED switches off when the bat-tery is fully loaded.
To charge multiple devices, we recommend using the 10-bay charging case »MCB-10« (Accessory, item no. A-5252-0).
