Controls and displays
How to use
Power ON / OFF
Slide the ON/OFF switch upwards to switch the device on. The LC-display will
light up and the currently selected channel number is shown.
To switch the device off after use: Slide the ON/ OFF switch back to the lower
position.
Reception
Reception will start as soon as the device is swit- ched on. The symbol indicates the incoming signal strength.
Volume up / down
The volume can be adjusted through 6 levels from muted to maximum. On the powered-up de- vice, press the »▲« and »▼« buttons to adjust the volume as desired.
Audio outputs »EAR1« and »EAR2«
The earphones ER-01 (included) can be plugged into any of the outputs »EAR1«
or »EAR2«.
The 3,5 mm audio jack makes it possible to connect various audio reproduction
equipment, such as earphones, headphones, neckloops but also audio amplifiers
and more.
A simultaneous use of both outputs is possible but the volume cannot be
adjusted separately.
Channel selection
Switch the device on and press the MODE-button for 3 seconds.
The symbol »CH« in the display will blink. Select a channel of 0-7 by pressing
the »▲« and »▼« buttons. After the selection, wait for 3 seconds to set the
selected channel number.
Please note :
Transmitters and receivers must be set to the same group number if they are to communicate with each other.
Audio output high / low
Apart from the volume control, it is possible to ad- just the basic audio
output level. A higher audio output will raise the maximum volume – this might
be required in noisy surroundings.
On the powered-up device, press and hold the MODE-button for 3 seconds. The
symbol »CH« in the display will blink.
Press the MODE button one time. The »UH« symbol is shown in the display. By
using the »▲« and »▼« buttons, select UH (high output) or UL (normal output).
After the selection, wait for 3 se- conds to set the selected output level.
Please note:
Selecting »UH« can cause white noise and should only be used in loud
environments.
We recommend the default setting »UL«.
1. Power supply / recharge
The device has a rechargeable lithium-ion bat- tery of 3,7 V / 1100 mAh. There are two possibili- ties for recharging the battery:
- To charge the battery, plug the USB charging cable into the USB jack of the RX and connect it to a regular USB port (computer, laptop, USB power supply, power bank).
The following charger cases charge via USB ca- bles:
- MCB-10 10bay charger case (USB) A-5252-0
- CB-20 20bay charger case (USB) A-5251-0
- Place the RX in one of the charging docks of the following chargers (drop-in charging):
- CS-2 2bay charging station A-5257-0
- CS-20 20bay charging station A-5256-0
- DC-20 20bay charger case A-5253-0
- DC-40 40bay charger case A-5254-0
The charging status LED is illuminated during recharge. The LED switches off when the bat- tery is fully loaded.
Encryption
If the use of Xepton-NX requires discretion, such as in court buildings or
during private sessions, the communication between transmitter and receiver
can be encrypted. Other Xepton-NX de- vices can then no longer participate in
the com- munication.
For this purpose, basic settings on the involved devices must be changed –
please contact your authorized AUDIOropa dealer.
