How to pair your MRD20GW/MRD25GW dehumidifier with the
Woods Connect app.

Before you start:

Verify that the router is broadcasting at 2.4GHz.
If the router has dual-band broadcasting, verify that the network name (SSIDs) is different. For additional help, contact your router/ internet provider.
Verify that the WiFi password is WPA2-PSK encrypted, and the authorization type is set to AES.
Position the dehumidifier as close as possible to the router during the pairing process.
The app needs to enable permissions including the location (location must always be active.)

Step 1 : Download and install the Woods Connect application from the Google Play Store or IOS App Store.

Step 2: Select “Register” to create a new account or “Log in with Existing Account”
Notes: Carefully read the Privacy Policy and if you approve the agreements, tap the Agree button to continue. ** **

Step 3: To create an account, register by email. Enter the code that you received in your registered email or phone number in the “Enter Verification Code” field to prepare the
pairing process.

Step 4: Enter the verification code.

Note:
How a device is reset can differ between models. Always follow the on-screen instructions in the Woods Connect app for guidance.

Step 6: Plug in the dehumidifier to a power supply and turn it on. To enter pairing mode Press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds to see that the display will flash rapidly.  Press add the device in the app.

Step 5 : Set the password and then press Done to proceed.

Step 7 : Press to add your device model.

Step 8: Connect to your Wi-Fi Network and press next and follow the steps.

Step 9: The device is now added. Press ”Done”.

Step 10 : You can now use your application.

Troubleshooting If the pairing process is not successful:
Verify that the router is broadcasting at 2.4GHz.
If the router has dual-band broadcasting, verify that the network names (SSIDs) are different.
For additional help, contact your router/internet provider.
Verify that the WiFi password is WPA2-PSK encrypted, and the authorization type is set to AES.
Position the dehumidifier as close as possible to the router during the pairing process.
Power off the router, the dehumidifier, and the device (tablet or mobile) and wait for 5 minutes.
Restart the pairing process from Step 2.
If the pairing is not successful, repeat the process with a different smart device (tablet or mobile).
