Safety instructions
Intended use
This device is used to digitize audio and video content and to make it
available for further processing via USB. Any other use or use under other
operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal
injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting
from improper use.
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke!
Where to use the product Never use the product
- in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
- in extremely dusty or dirty areas
- at locations where the unit can become wet
General handling
- To prevent damage, never use force when handling the product.
- Never immerse the product in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents.

Mounting options
On the monitor / display:
Open the webcam clip and follow the steps shown in the illustration to place the webcam on top of the display. Make sure the clip is securely attached.
On a tripod (not included)
Using the product
- Mount the camera either on a tripod or on the display. You can also just put it on your desk. The optimal distance between the camera and the subject is approx. 1 m.
- Connect the USB plug of the camera cable to the USB port of a computer with Windows® or MacOS® operating system.
- The required driver is provided by the operating system and installed automatically. The power indicator then lights up and the camera is ready for use.
- Remove the magnetic cover from the lens. The cover can be attached to the back of the camera for storage. Start the desired chat or video conference software. When the camera is on, the activity indicator lights up.
- Briefl y touch the sensor for the ambient lighting to turn it on. Touch the sensor again to set the colour temperature of the ambient lighting to 3100 K, 4000 K or 5800 K one after the other. Touching it again switches off the ambient lighting. Touch this sensor longer to continuously adjust the brightness of the ambient lighting.
- If you want to interrupt the transmission of the camera image, put the lens cover back in front of the lens so that it is covered.
Note
If you use the camera on a laptop that has a built-in camera, you must fi rst
deactivate it or set the external camera as the standard device for audio /
video recording.
