Printer Setup

    Note: Remove the protective film from the battery before first use

Buttons and Indicators

  1. Power button
    • Power on: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The printer will power up and the green power indicator will turn on.
    • Power off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The printer will turn off and all the indicator lights will turn off.
  2. Feed Button Press this button to feed the paper. Holding down the button will feed the paper continuously.
  3. Power Indicator Green light indicates powered on. Red light indicates the charging state.
  4. Bluetooth Indicator Green light indicates the Bluetooth connection is active. If the lights turns off, this indicates the Bluetooth is disconnected
  5. Status Indicator Red light on indicates that the printer is out of paper.
  6. Buzzer
    • The buzzer sounds every 2 seconds: Printer is out of paper or overheated.
    • The buzzer sounds once: Bluetooth connection is active.
  7. Type-C USB Interface
    • USB interface allows the printer to communicate and transmit data
    • USB interface is used to charge the battery, the power input is 5V/2A

Self-test Turn off the printer. Press and hold the FEED button and then press the POWER button. Wait 3 seconds and then release both buttons at the same time. The printer will print its status and settings
Enter hexadecimal mode: Turn off the printer. Press and hold the FEED button and then press the POWER button. Wait 10 seconds and then release both buttons. The printer will print “Hexadecimal Dump” first, then it will enter in HEX printing mode.
Initialization configuration Turn off the printer. Press and hold the FEED button and then press the POWER button. Wait 2 seconds, release the POWER button, 25 seconds after the printer’s green indicator will flash and the buzzer will ring. Release the FEED button. At this point, initialization is complete. Press the POWER Button again to start using the printer.

Caution:

  1.  The printer will only work with the designated battery & power adapter. Using a non-original battery or adapter may cause damage to the printer.
  2. If the printer will not be used for a long period of time, the battery must be taken out of the printer or it may cause battery leakage.
  3. The battery fluid used in the printer battery is caustic. If the battery accidentally leaks and the fluid makes contact with skin or clothes, please flush with running water immediately. If the fluid gets into eyes, please seek immediate medical care.
  4. The printer must not be put into water or exposed to rain or it will damage the printer.
  5. Although the printer can work in environment temperature between 0°C to 40C, it may affect printing quality if environment temperature is too low or too high.

Printer Maintenance

Print-head cleaning: Clean the printer head if any of the following occur:

  1. Unclear or garbled printing.
  2. Unclear vertical column in printing paper.
  3. Loud noises occur when feeding paper.

Cleaning steps are as follows:

  1. Turn off the printer and open the top cover. Remove the paper, if any.
  2. Temperature of the print-head can be very hot after it finishes printing. Please clean the print-head after it cools down to environment temperature.
  3. Clean the thermal elements of the thermal printer head with a soft cotton cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol.
  4. Close the top cover after the ethyl alcohol completely volatilized and evaporates. Print a self-test page.

Notice:

  1. Turn the printer power off when performing printer maintenance.
  2. Don’t touch or scratch the printing head surface with fingers or metal materials.
  3. Avoid using gasoline, acetone or other organic solvent on the printer.
  4. Turn on the printer and continue printing task after the ethylic alcohol completely volatilized.

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
