Routine Maintenance and Care Guide
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your printer, please adhere to
the following routine maintenance and care instructions:
COMMON ISSUES:
- Unclear Print Quality: The printed text or images are not sharp or distinct.
- Excessive Noise: There are loud sounds during paper input and output processes. Obstructions on Print Head: Foreign materials are attached to the print head, affecting functionality. Cleaning Procedure for Print Head and Cots:
- To maintain the best printing quality, the print head and cots should be cleaned within 3-5 minutes after completing your printing tasks. Follow these steps for effective cleaning:
- Power Off: Before starting, turn off the printer’s power supply and open the top cover to access the print head.
- Clean Gently: Use a cotton ball lightly moistened with alcohol to gently wipe off any dust or debris from the surface of the print head and cots. Ensure the cotton ball is well-wrung to avoid excess alcohol.
- Let it Dry: Allow the alcohol to evaporate completely for 5-10 minutes before you start printing again.
- Recommendation: For consistent printer performance, regularly clean the print heads, cots, and sensors following the steps outlined above.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
Handling the Print Head: Avoid direct contact with the print head with your
hands to prevent damage.
- Cleaning Solvent: Use only medical-grade alcohol for cleaning. Industrial-strength alcohol is not recommended as it may harm the print head.
- Frequent Errors: Should the printer display repeated error messages, consider cleaning the sensor to improve functionality.
