Operation
-
On:
- Remove earbuds from the EC149 case, or
- Press & hold the multi-function buttons of Left & Right earbuds (see #5 & #7 on Product Map above) to turn the power ON. EC149 will automatically pair between Left & Right earbuds (allow up to 30 seconds for Left & Right earbuds to auto-pair during initial use). A short melody from earbuds indicates the EC149 has been successfully paired.
Once EC149 TWS earbuds are paired to each other, it is automatically in WIRELESS mode. NOTE: previously paired devices will automatically connect to the EC149

2. Off:
- Place both earbuds in the charging receptors slot of the EC149 case, or
- Press & hold the multi-function button on one of the TWS earbuds & both earbuds will power OFF. Both earbuds will automatically power OFF after 3 minutes of idle time.
Wireless Earbud Pairing
Stereo Mode:
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case
- The EC149 earbuds will automatically power ON. If blue & red flashing LEDs do not appear on the earbuds, press & hold the multi-function buttons on both Left & Right earbuds (see #5 & #8 on Product Map above) to power ON. The primary earbud will flash red & blue LED quickly while the Secondary earbud will flash blue LED intermittently. (NOTE: allow up to 30 seconds for Left & Right earbuds to auto-pair during initial use).
- Enable Bluetooth function on your electronic device. Search for SPECTOR EC149 & pair the devices (slow flashing blue LED on each earbud indicates that the EC149 has been successfully paired to your audio device)
- To DISCONNECT both earbuds from wireless pairing, press & hold the multi-function button on one of the earbuds until LED is powered OFF.
Mono Mode:
- Remove one earbud from the charging case
- The EC149 earbud will automatically power ON. If blue & red LED do not appear on the earbud, press & hold the multi-function buttons on Left or Right earbud (see #5 or #7 on Product Map above) to power ON.
- Enable Bluetooth function on your electronic device. Search for SPECTOR EC149 & pair the devices (flashing blue LED on the earbud indicates that the EC149 has been successfully paired to your audio device)
- To DISCONNECT from wireless pairing, press & hold the multi-function button on the earbud until LED is powered OFF.
NOTE: repeat step 1-3 to pair the other EC149 earbud with a different audio device.
Wireless Mode
- Play/Pause & Answer/End incoming calls: Gently tap ONCE on either one of the multi-function buttons of TWS earbuds (NOTE: the EC149 multi-function buttons have an integrated touch sensor feature, where gentle tapping is required only)
- Reject incoming calls: Gently tap & hold one of the multi-function buttons of EC149 earbuds.
- Redial last incoming caller: Gently tap twice quickly on either one of the multi-function buttons of EC149 earbuds
- Skip songs: gently tap & hold either-or of the multi-function buttons of EC149 earbuds for 5 seconds
- Volume control/previous songs must be controlled directly on your audio device
NOTES:
- Although each earbud has a built-in microphone, only the microphone on the Primary earbud will be used in Stereo mode
- Music will automatically stop playing when the EC149 earbuds are placed in the wireless charging receiver. When both earbuds are removed from the EC149 wireless charging receiver, press play on your electronic device to resume playing music.
To Charge the EC149
Earbuds:
- Place both earbuds into the charging slots of the EC149 case. The EC149 charging case will automatically power ON & start charging the EC149 earbuds once they are placed in the charging slots.
- Flashing red LED on Left & Right earbuds indicate that the device is charging (Red LED will automatically power off to indicate that the EC149 earbuds are 100% fully charged)
NOTES:
- If red LED on EC149 earbuds do not appear while charging in charging slots, lightly push the earbuds down to align the charging receptors of earbuds (see #8 on Product Map above) & power case in charging position
- To indicate the EC149 is low in battery, a red LED will flash quickly on earbuds & power case & will automatically power OFF
Charging Case:
- Insert micro-USB into the EC149 & connect the USB output to a certified wall adapter (not included)
- Flashing blue LED indicates the EC149 is charging (Blue LED will automatically power off once the EC149 is 100% fully charged)
- To stop charging, remove the micro-USB/USB charging cable from the EC149 charging case
NOTE: the LED lights on EC149 charging case also act as a charge case battery status indicator.
