INSERTION OF BATTERIES
Remove the battery compartment cover and insert four 1.5V AA batteries into
the battery compartment. When inserting, make sure to observe the correct
polarity, which is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment. Replace
the cover.
When replacing, first remove the dead batteries and then insert the new ones.
Note
Do not insert a dead battery and a new battery at the same time or use
different types of batteries at the same time. If you will not be using the
photo trap for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage
in the event of an electrolyte leak.
Warning
Do not short-circuit or otherwise damage the battery. Never throw the battery
into a fire. Discharge the battery and dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly manner. Do not dispose of batteries in mixed waste.
INSERTING AN SD CARD
Insert the SD card into the photo trap before turning it on. Insert the SD
card into the slot. When inserting, make sure to insert the card correctly.
The illustration next to the slot shows how to insert the card correctly. If
the SD card is not inserted correctly, an “X” will appear in the upper corner
of the display.
Do not insert or remove the SD card while the photo trap is in operation.
The photo trap supports high-speed SD cards class 10 and higher. Format the SD
card before use. Regular use, as well as improper use, will shorten the life
of the SD card and may cause data corruption. If the SD card is damaged,
replace it.

SELECTION OF THE INSTALLATION LOCATION OF THE PHOTO TRAP
Verify that the photo trap is effectively recording the selected area. Set the
switch to the “SETUP” position. In the selected area, try different distances
and angles so that you can move around the area around the photo trap
repeatedly. The LED lights will flash to indicate that you are within the
viewing range. Once the LED lights stop flashing, you are out of the monitored
range.
This testing will help you determine the best place to install the photo trap.
The height from the ground depends on the size of the game you want to record.
The recommended height from the ground is between 90 and 180 cm (but it is up
to you which height you choose). Make sure that the photo trap is not
interfered with by any radio equipment, is not in direct sunlight, and is not
obstructed by any branches or bushes.
OPERATION OF THE PHOTO TRAP
Turn the switch to the “ON” position. After 5 seconds, the display will turn off and the photo trap will switch to standby mode. As soon as an animal enters the monitored area, the sensor detects it, the photo trap activates, and automatically starts taking pictures or recording. When the animal leaves the monitored area, the photo trap automatically switches off and enters standby mode.
NIGHT MODE
If the photo trap is activated at night, the infrared light is automatically switched on to illuminate an area of 3-20 meters. If the animal is too close to the photo trap, the photo or footage will be overexposed.
VIDEO AND DATA TRANSMISSION
Connecting to TV
Play the video footage on a connected TV.
Switch on the TV and connect the photo trap to the TV via the AV cable. Once
connected, the display of the photo trap will switch to power saving mode and
the files can be played on the TV display.
Connection to PC
When connected to a PC, the photo trap appears as an external drive from which
you can run videos/photos or download them to your PC (directory
“DCIM/100MEDIA”).
Note
Do not disconnect the cable or insert/remove the SD card during data transfer.
Otherwise, there is a risk of data loss.
BATTERY LIFE
The battery life in the photo trap is between 3 – 6 months. It depends on the
quality and capacity of the batteries, the frequency of use of the photo trap,
and the environment in which the photo trap is placed.
