Control with one or more non-locking switches

VADSBO LD220WCM Bluetooth Dimmer - Control with one or more non-locking
switches

LD220WCM can be controlled using one or more non-locking 1-pole push buttons (toggle switch) in parallel. Note that the push button should be connected as “Normally open”. Several dimmers can be synced/controlled wirelessly using Bluetooth.

Off/on: Short press (50-400ms) on the button.

Dimming: Long press (>400 ms) on the button.
Dimming up and down alternately.

Stays in the dimmest/brightest mode.
The maximum recommended cable length between the push button and the dimmer is 15 meters. For long cables, 230V cables drawn in parallel, can affect the control.

Change profile

You can change the profile of the device when it’s not connected to a network by clicking on the device in the Casambi application. The option “change profile” will be displayed as a selectable alternative. The function of the device can be changed by changing its profile.

Profiles:

LD220WCM: Dimmer curve adjusted for LED lights.
LD220WCM Halogen: The dimmer curve is adapted for linear loads such as halogen, low-energy lamps and bulbs.
LD220WCM_Switch: The device only appears under the category ‘switches’.
LD220WCM_onoff: The device’s functions are changed to only ‘off’ and ‘on’.
LD220WCM Sensor: the device only appears under the sensor category.

Lowest/highest dimmer level

Different types of LED have different dimmer curves. You can change the lowest and highest dimmer levels by:

  1. Starting the app and double-clicking on the dimmer.
  2. Scrolling down to the lowest/highest dimmer level and setting the level.

Range

MESH means that the devices talk to each other via the Bluetooth network, and you only need to have coverage for one device. By using MESH technology, you only need to be within the range (30M max) of one device in order to control all devices.

The MESH technology means that you can build large-scale installations with a large number of light fittings and control them easily, e.g. via your smart phone.

We recommend 15m as all installations have different preconditions.

Note that even a dimmer with no load can be used in the network as a presence enhancement through the network via MESH technology.
