BEFORE USE
Before use, please read this manual carefully.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to avoid fires, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read these operating and safety instructions carefully.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of the fire, electric shock, and injury to persons,
including the following:
- Read all instructions before using.
- In case of an emergency, immediately remove the plug from the power outlet.
- Check the voltage indicated on the rating label on the appliance does in fact match that of your electrical system.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Always unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning. Allow cooling before adding or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid. Never clean the appliance or the power cord if those are humid. Avoid touching the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may over heat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be rated not less than 2,000 watts. Only use an earthed socket to connect the appliance.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, metal surface. Do not place the espresso machine near the edge of a bench or table during operation. Ensure the surface is level, clean, and free of water and other substances.
- It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet(receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace a loose or worn outlet.
- Use the appliance only as the described in this manual. Any other use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not place anything other than cups for warming on top of the machine.
- Do not put fingers inside the brewing chamber, due to sharp edges.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- Hot water, steam, spout are hot. The danger of burn injuries. Do not put steam or hot water on the body.
- We recommend using cold, filtered water. We do not recommend the use of de-mineralized or distilled water as this may affect the taste of the espresso and how the machine is designed to function. Do not use the machine with an empty water tank.
- Use only water in the appliance! Do not put any other liquids or foods in the water tank.
- WARNING: The filling aperture or cover or handle must not be opened during use.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar an application such as:
- Indoor & domestic use only;
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments; – bed and breakfast type environments;
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.
CAUTION: Don’t move the water tank away when the machine still working to avoid the water spilling or the system absorbing air in.
CAUTION: Permit the machine for a rest of 5min. if you make coffee more than 150ml.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Start Up
-
Fill water tank with water (Filtered water strongly recommended).
-
Plugin and the machine is turned on by beeping and the three indicators will blink once, entering sleeping mode.
Tips:
Always rinse the machine every time before making coffee to clean up the
brewing chamber and meantime heat up the whole system for the best yield of
coffee. This is the best way of machine maintenance daily.
Coffee/Espresso Brewing

Heating Up:
Touch any key to heat up and indicators will blink. -
Stand by mode:
All indicators turn steady when heating is completed, the machine is ready for operation. -
Lift the handle and insert the capsule (please double check if the capsule fits the machine).

Close the handle.

Touch Ristretto/Espresso/ Lungo button and release to start to brew coffee.
-
The respected indicator will keep blinking while brewing till finished; touch any key to stop at any time.

Machine will switch to stand by mode with all indicators on after coffee brewing.

Lift the handle to eject the capsule into the waste capsule container automatically.
Energy Saving Concept
- To save energy, unplug the machine when not in use for extended periods.
- Automatic power-off: the machine will stop automatically after 8 minutes of inactivity. You can touch any button to wake it up.
- To enter sleep mode from stand-by mode: touch ‘Ristretto’ & ‘Lungo’ button together for 3 seconds.
- To shift auto power-off time between 8 minutes and 30 minutes: touch ‘Ristretto’ & ‘Espresso’ button together for 3 seconds to set it to be 8 minutes or touch ‘Espresso ‘ & ‘Lungo ‘ button together for 30 minutes.
Programming The Cup Size

Insert a capsule and close the handle.

In stand by mode, long touch respected button to start brewing coffee (do not release your finger during this time).

Release from the button when the desired volume is reached, the cup size is stored.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

System Cleaning:
To refresh the inside parts of the system, you can choose to repeat the prescribed procedures of coffee brewing several times and try to brush the inside brewing chamber capsule holder with a soft brush from time to time. Clean the casing, with a soft damp cloth. The water tank, drip tray, and used capsule container can be washed in warm water(not hot water).
NOTE: Before attempting to clean the appliance, remove the plug from the power outlet. Do not immerse the machine, and/or power cable in water or other liquids. Allow the machine to cool before starting the cleaning procedure. -
Descaling
Choose the recommended decalcifier or scale remover from your machine provider: -
Fill the water tank with 200ml pure water(around a quarter of the total capacity);

Pour into the water tank 3g scale remover, wait for 5 minutes or stir to dissolve;
-
Install the water tank to the correct position carefully and long-press the three buttons for no less than 3s to enter descaling mode the machine will start to work till it stops automatically;

Wait for 10 minutes and pour pure water into the water tank, enter descaling mode again to clean the machine till it stops.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem: Indicators off
Solution: Check plug or touch any button to wake up.
Problem: No coffee dispensed
Solution: Make sure the capsule is correctly positioned, capsule slot not
obstructed, brewing chamber properly closed, water tank filled and correctly
fitted.
Problem: Coffee not hot enough
Solution: Preheat your cup, descale if necessary.
Problem: Coffee comes out slowly, in drips
Solution: Scale has built up in the machine, descale the machine or change
capsule.
Problem: No hot water or coffee
Solution: The water tank is empty.
Problem: Noisy pump
Solution: Repeat the brewing procedure. Make sure the water tank is filled and
correctly fitted.
Problem: Brewing chamber leaking (water in capsule container)
Solution: Make sure the capsule is compatible with this machine and position
the capsule correctly.
Problem: Indicators blinking and beeping
Solution: Fill in water and touch any button to stop.
Problem: Coffee leaking from the machine
Solution: Ensure the removable drip tray is correctly and securely inserted.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of the device in normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the device over a registered waste disposal firm or through your
communal waste disposal facility.
Observe the currently valid regulations. In case of doubt, consult your waste
disposal facility.
