Please always tollow the instructions tor sate usage. lf you have any questions about the product or experience any problems, please contact us by email service@kitchenbrothers.nl The KitchenBrothers Food Chopper can be used tor chopping, blending, pureeing, mixing and mincing a variety of ingredients, giving them a pertect texture. Just give the speed button a short sharp burst to pulse and it only takes 6-10 seconds to finish your task.

Warnings and Safety Instructions

Please ensure that the packaging is kept out of the reach of children! Risk of suffocation! Make sure to keep this user manual. Read the manual carefully before using your Kitchen Brothers Food Chopper!

General

  • Be aware of the risks and consequences resulting from misuse of the Food Chopper. Misuse of the Food Chopper can result in personal injury, or destruction of the instrument/appliance/device and of the instal- lations.
  • Use the Food Chopper only for purposes described in this user manual.
  • If the Food Chopper malfunctions, is dropped or (appears to be) damaged in any manner, do NOT use the old Chopper and contact customer Service.
  • The Food Chopper is designed and intended tor private, non-commercial use only.
  • Do NOl leave the Food Chopper unattended when in use. When you are not using the Food Chopper, turn the device oft and disconnect the device from the power socket.
  • Do NOT disconnect the Food Chopper trom its power supply by pulling the cable.
  • Do NOT carry or pull the device by its cable.
  • Make sure that you do NOT trip over the cable. The cable should not be kinked, trapped or twisted.
  • The Food Chopper should not be used for making smoothies or any liquid mixture as the liquid can spill out. After using the Food Chopper, only disassemble the Food Chopper when the motor has stopped com- pletely.
  • Make sure to always pay close attention when using the Food Chopper.
  • Use and store the Food Chopper in a dry place without ultraviolet light.
  • This device should NOT be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or persons (including children) with lack of experience with and knowledge ot the device, unless they are supervised or have been given instruction concerning the use by a person responsible for their satety.
  • Keep the ood Chopper away trom children when using and storing
  • When the Food Chopper is turned on, do NOT put your finger or any other body part in the Food Chopper. This may result in personal injury or damage the appliance.
  • Do NOT put sharp objects in the Food Chopper when it is turned on. This may result in personal injury or damage the appliance.
  • When using the Food Chopper, only use the original accessories provided by the manufacturer.

Electronics

  • Do NOT reconstruct, repair or disassemble the Food Chopper. Ihis can damage the device. For satety reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorized service personnel. In order to prevent hazards, always send the Food Chopper to the service centre for repairs.
  • Make sure your outlet supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the Food Chopper. Do not use AC power other than 220V, other voltages might result in an electric shock or fire. Use a Single Socket with standard 6A or more. It the socket is shared with other appliances, the socket line may cause abnormal heat or fire.
  • Always check the power cord and plug before using the Food Chopper. Do NOT operate the Food Chopper it the cord or plug are damaged. A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid damages and personal injuries.
  • Do NO use the FOod Chopper in or near a bath, shower, SWimming pool, or Over a basin Tilled with water.
  • Make sure to prevent any contact with water. Do NOI Submerge the Food Chopper in water. If water does get inside the casing, turn the Food Chopper off immediately and contact our customer service.
  • Keep the Food Chopper away trom moisture, heat and in or close to areas where the surrounding tempe rature is relatively hot (e.g., stoves or other sources of heat).
  • Make sure that the voltage set on the machine corresponds to the supply ot electricity in your country. Do NOT operate the Food Chopper Outside its specitied power limits. lf errors or maltunctions occur, remove the plug trom the wall socket immediately.
  • Do NOT connect the kood Chopper to a timer to avoid damage or personal injury.

Other

  • Calmly insert the plug into the socket. Calmly pull the plug out ot the socket.
  • Do NOT use iron objects, these might scratch or otherwise damage the appliance.
  • Make sure to calmly pull the plug out of the socket after every use, to avoid the risk of electric shock or akage.
  • The Food Chopper cannot be used to process hard food, such as: meat with bones, cottee beans, black pepper, Chinese prickly ash or ice cubes.
  • The temperature resistance of the glass bowl ranges from 0C to 50°C. Do NOT put food with a temperature outside of the 9iven range in the glass bowl. Do NOT heat up the glass bowl in the microwave.
  • Betore you put the ingredients in the glass bowl, make sure that the blade is in position and stable. Iif the blade cannot run or is running slowly, calmly pull the p obstacle. It so, carefully take out the obstacle.
  • After you have put the ingredients in the glass bowl, check if the blade is stable and in position. If the blade is not running quickly within a tew seconds, calmly pull the plug trom the wall socket. lake out a part of the ingredients and try again.
  • The blades are very sharp. Please do not touch the blades directly and hold the protection covers on the blade when you remove them.
  • Never use the Food Chopper for more than 30 seconds continuously. Make sure to pause tor 2 minutes after every 30 seconds. One cycle is 30 seconds of usage and then a 2-minute break. After 3 cycles, the

Receiving Your Shipment

When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notity your distributor of any missing tems. It the equipment appears to be damaged, tile a claim immediately with the carrier and notity your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.

Operating Instructions

A The blades are very sharp. Use the Food Chopper carefully. When the Food Chopper is turned on, do NOT put your finger or any other body part in the Food Chopper. This may result in personal injury or damage the appliance.

Getting Started

  1. Before using the Food Chopper, clean the stainless steel bowl, blade and top cover.

  2. Take off the motor unit and top cover.

  3. Place the blade on the blade supporter

  4. Make sure the blade is on the blade supporter after you put in the food.

  5. Place the top cover on the bowl and place the motor unit on the top cover. Make sure that they are in the Correct position.

  6. Insert the plug into the wall socket to switch on the power.

  7. Hold the motor unit with your hand and press the Speed or Speed Il button to start chopping the food. Release the button to stop chopping the food.
    Caution: In order to prolong the litetime ot your Food Chopper, never run it more than 30 seconds ata time. Pause for 120 seconds between each usage.

  8. After you have released the button, do NOT remove the motor unit immediately. Wait until the blade stops rotating, then remove the plug trom the wall socket to turn oft the power and remove the motor unit.

  9. The blades are very sharp. Remove the blades first, before taking out the good, in order to avoid damages to the appliance and to avoid personal injury.

  10. Install the blade
    Place the blade on the blade supporter.

  11. Add the ingredients
    Cut the ingredients in small pieces and put them in the bowl. Do not exceed the max. filling level mark on the bowl.

  12. Install the top cover and motor unit
    Put on the top cover. Place the motor unit on the cover and turn it slightly.

  13. Start work
    Press the Speed I or Speed ll button to turn on the Food Chopper. Release the button and turn the Food Chopper off.

Problem – Solution

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  1. After using the Food Chopper, remove the plug trom the wall SOCket.

  2. For your own satety, wear gloves when disassembling the blade as shown in the above image.

  3.  Assemble the blades and knife set after cleaning and drying. Watch out, the blades are very sharp.

  4. All accessories can be washed in soapy water or in a dishwashing liquid. Do not use a steel wool sponge as
    this might scratch and damage the Food Chopper.

  5. Never immerse the motor unit in water and never hold the motor unit under running water. Simply wipe the motor unit clean with a damp sponge.

  6. If you are not going to use the machine for an extended period of time, store the machine in a dry and well-ventilated place to prevent the motor from becoming damp and going mouldy.

Storage

Use and store the Food Chopper in a dry place without ultraviolet light. lf you are not going to use the machine tor an extended period of time, store the machine in a dry and well-ventilated place to prevent the motor from becoming damp and going mouldy.

Disposal – Recycle
Contribute to a cleaner living environment! Do not dispose of the Food Chopper with the household waste. For proper recycling, please contact your local authority or your household waste disposal service for turther details on your nearest designated collection point.
