OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
BATHROOM SCALES
Thank you for choosing Brabantia. We hope that you will enjoy using this
product for many years. Please read the instructions in this booklet carefully
and keep it safe for future use.
What do you want to do?
Preparing for first use| Open the battery housing in the base of the
scales and fit the batteries, making sure the + and – signs on the batteries
match the equivalent signs. Close the battery door.|

Accurate weighing| • Place the scales on a flat surface.
• Step onto the scales and stand still until the correct weight is shown in
the display.
• The weight data will blink twice when stable.
• The scales will turn off utomatically after 10 seconds.
Note: If you want to measure once again, please step off, then step on the
platform again.|
Change the weighing units| You can change the measuring units from
metric to imperial or vice versa (i.e. KG/ST/LB) by simply pressing the button
located on the underside of the scales.|

| Low batteries signal – please replace the batteries (2 x Lithium
CR2032/3V).

| Overload indication. Please step down from the scales to protect the electronic weighing system.

Safety Instructions
- The scales are suitable for indoors domestic use only.
- Clean with a lightly dampened cloth without allowing any water to get into the device. Do not use solvents or immerse the product in water or any other liquid. The scales are not watertight.
- Do not exceed the capacity of the scales.
- Please dispose of used batteries in a responsible manner by recycling.
- Remove the batteries if the product is not in use for an extended period. The scales are not suitable for rechargeable batteries.
- Protect the scales against knocks, damp, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in temperature, electromagnetic fields and sources of heat.

Additionally, extreme levels of Electrostatic Interference may cause this product to temporarily malfunction. The scales can be slippery when wet – be careful! Never step onto the
outer edge of the scales with one foot as this could cause the scales to
tip!
