What do you want to do?

Preparing for first use
Open the battery compartment in the base of the scales and fit the batteries, making sure the + and – signs on the batteries match the equivalent signs. Close the battery door.

Accurate weighing

  • Place the scales on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).
  • Step onto the scales and stand still until the weight is shown in the LED display.
  • The weight data will blink twice when stable.
  • The scales will turn off automatically after 10 seconds.
  • Note: If you want to measure once again, please step off, then step on the scale again.
Change the weighing units
  • You can change the measuring units from metric to imperial or vice versa (i.e. KG/LB) by simply pressing the button located on the bottom of the scales.

Display Information

Low batteries signal – please replace the batteries (4x AAA/1,5V).

Overload indication. Please step down from the scales to protect the electronic weighing system.

Technical Details

Max capacity 180 kg/396 lb – 0.1 kg/0.2 lb graduations.

Safety Instructions

  • The scales are suitable for indoors domestic use only.

  • Clean with a lightly dampened cloth without allowing any water to get into the device. Do not use solvents or immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
    The scales are not watertight.

  • Do not exceed the capacity of the scales.

  • Please dispose of used batteries in a responsible manner by recycling.

  • Remove the batteries if the product is not in use for an extended period. The scales are not suitable for rechargeable batteries.

  • Protect the scales against knocks, damp, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in temperature, electromagnetic fields and sources of heat.

  • This product is a sensitive electronic instrument and as such may temporarily be affected by Radio Transmitting Devices being used in close proximity to it. In such cases it may be necessary to remove and re-install the batteries to re-establish normal working. If the problem persists then contact your local supplier or visit www.brabantia.com

  • Scales tested according to CE norms.

  • The scales can be slippery when wet – be careful! Never step onto the outer edge of the scales with one foot as this could cause the scales to tip!

  • Batteries are dangerous if swallowed – keep scales and batteries out of reach of children.
