Getting started

Base station

  • Connect the power cable to the device and connect the DC adapter to the AC power supply; or
  • Open the battery compartment cover (20) and insert 3 batteries according to the correct polarity. Close the cover.
  • Once the batteries are installed, the base station will search for the outdoor units for the first 5 minutes. After that, the base station can be manually set to receive. To do this, press the CHANNEL button for 2 seconds.
  • The effective range may differ depending on the unit’s position. Due to interference (various remote control devices, etc.), the maximum distance between the base unit and the outdoor unit may be significantly reduced. In such cases, we suggest moving the base unit and sensor a little. Sometimes it is enough to move one of these units just a few inches!

Wind sensor

  • Place the base station and the remote sensor within the effective transmission range. Open the battery compartment cover (3) and insert 4 batteries according to the correct polarity.
  • Set the channel switch (8) to the same channel selected on the base station, and then press the TX button. Check that the base station has received the signal. Press the TX button once more, if necessary. If the reception is successful, the base station display will show the temperature and humidity. Close the battery compartment cover.
  • Insert the aluminum pole (2) into the mounting base and fasten it with the screws (included). Screw the base to a wooden or stone wall using the supplied screws and plugs. Slide the upper part of the wind sensor onto the pole and fasten it with the screws.
  • The wind speed sensor, temperature, humidity, and wind direction part must be facing south. Orientate the outdoor wind unit using the compass to ensure the correct wind direction.

Rain gauge

  • Open the battery compartment cover (6) and insert 2 batteries according to the correct polarity. Close the cover and secure it with the screws.
