- To protect against electrical shock, fire, or personal injury, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Please keep it out of reach of children and pets. This product is not intended for use by children, by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the product, by a person responsible for their safety. Extra caution is always necessary when using this product.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Do not let children play with the appliance or carry out cleaning and maintenance unsupervised.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Periodically check the condition of the power cable. Do not operate any appliance with a deteriorated blade, damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Do not attempt to repair or tool the device yourself as it may lead to electric shock. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- Never place the plug, power cord, or motor base into water or any other liquid. Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight or rain, or an excessively humid environment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors. Household use only.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. Do not use near combustibles (flammable gas and the like).
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than intended use.
- Do not wash or immerse the grinder base.
- Do not let the appliance function without any coffee beans in the grinding cup. Do not grind more than 1.7 oz (50 g) at a time.
- Do not let operate for more than 20 seconds continuously. Let the appliance rest for 30 minutes between operations.
- Do not remove the clear lid until the rotating blades have come to a complete stop. Handle the blades carefully as they are very sharp.
- If the coffee grounds stop spinning during operation, simply shake the grinder lightly while holding the lid closed.
- Be careful when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the jar, and cleaning.
- For additional protection, it is recommended to install residue current device (RCD) in the power circuit, with a residual current rating no greater than 30 mA. Contact a professional electrician in this matter.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into the polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not properly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a competent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plugin anyway.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least that of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord is too low, it could overheat and burn.
- The resulting extended cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

OPERATION
Before the first use, when the unit is unplugged, wipe the grinding cup,
blade, and lid with a clean, dry cloth.
Grinding spices and coffee has never been this easy! Follow below for a step-
by-step explanation of the quick, one-touch operation of your grinder.
- Remove the clear lid and place the coffee beans, spices, or nuts per the table below into the grinding cup. The grinder can hold up to 60 g / 2 Oz. of beans, spices, or nuts.
- Replace the lid and then plug the unit in.
- Press and hold the on/off switch continuously to start the grinding process. To turn off, release the on/off switch.
- Once the blade has stopped, unplug the unit, remove the clear lid and then pour out the coffee or spice grounds.
Important: Do not operate continuously for more than 20 seconds at a time. Please let the appliance cool down for 30 minutes between operations. Tips:
• Do not overload the grinder. Make sure the coffee beans don’t pass the MAX line of the grinding cup.
• Longer operation does not necessarily equal a finer grind. Overworking your coffee grinder may cause it to overheat.
• For optimal flavors, brew coffee grounds directly after grinding them.
Using a coffee and spice grinder allows you to extract the most flavor out of your everyday spices and coffee grounds. A fresh grind of spices like peppercorn, flax seeds, anise seeds, and coriander seeds can bring all of your dishes to the next level. Make sure to take care of your spice grinder and not overdo its capacities, as this will help to prolong its life.
