If you press the button, the measurement unit will be “pounds” (lb), next ounce (“oz”), next kilogram (“kg”).
KEY FEATURES
- Tara / On / Off switch
- U: Unit of measure kg / g / lb / oz
USE
Put the scales on an even and hard surface, for instance a table. Avoid soft surfaces. At the center of the device, set the silicone bowl.
Normal weighing
- Press the key lightly with your finger. The scales will turn on and the LCD display will show “0.000” lb, “0.00” oz, “0” g or “0.000” kg.
- Put the object you want to weigh into the bowl. The stabilized weight is displayed.
- Remove the object from the kitchen scale.
- The scale turns off automatically after about 120 seconds. You can also switch the scale off anytime by keeping the key pressed for two seconds.
Tare function
With the tare function you can measure only the content of a container without measuring the weight of the container itself.
- Press the key lightly with your finger. The scales will turn on and the LCD display will show “0.000” lb, “0.00” oz, “0” g or “0.000”kg.
- Put the empty container (a bowl) on the weighing platform. The stabilized weight is displayed.
- Press the key to reset the weight to “0”. The weight of the container will now be displayed as zero, even though it remains on the weighing platform.
- Add the ingredients into the container and read the weight when the display is stable. Only the weight of the ingredients in the container will be displayed.
- If you have to weigh/add several ingredients one after another in the same container, you can also use the tare function and in this way you will each time get the exact weight of the ingredient you have added.
- The scale turns off automatically if there is no action within 120 seconds. You can also switch the scale off anytime by keeping the key pressed for two seconds.
Overload indicator
If the “EEEEE” symbol appears on the LCD screen, it means that the maximum weight accepted by your scales is exceeded, please remove the object from the weighing platform in order not to damage your scales.
- Low battery indicator If the “LO“ symbol is displayed on the LCD screen, it means that the battery of your scales should be replaced (see paragraph Before the first use).
- Battery If your appliance does not work properly, it is probably because the battery is discharged. In that case, replace it with a new one of the same type (see paragraph Before the first use).
Please dispose of the old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.

Does it have a timer?
No, it doesn’t have a timer.

What is electronic kitchen scale used for?
The weight or mass of an item, expressed in pounds, gram, fluid ounces, or milliliters, is measured by a chef using a digital kitchen scale, also known as a digital gram scale. On a kitchen counter, digital kitchen scales are often compact, light, and take up very little room.
Are digital kitchen scales accurate?
The majority of digital food scales weigh in whole gram (or eighths of an ounce), and most recipes are fine with that degree of accuracy. However, a pocket scale that can read in 0.1-gram increments can be helpful for measuring leavener for baking or coffee (particularly for pour-over or espresso).
How do electronic kitchen scales sense weight?
The amount of air needed to balance the weight of the object on the scale depends on how heavy it is because the scale uses pressurised air to do so. The reading is subsequently converted into an electrical signal by the pressure gauge.
Are electronic scales better?
Bathroom scales that are digital rather than mechanical offer better accuracy. But every bathroom scale needs to be set up properly and used consistently for the most accurate result.
Is buying a food scale worth it?
A scale is a terrific tool for staying on track if you’re attempting to eat more mindfully. You can easily measure portion sizes using a kitchen scale, allowing you to calculate your intake of calories and other nutrients.
Why do digital scales give different readings?
Digital scales are electronic devices, so electromagnetic frequencies may affect how accurate they are. For instance, erroneous readings can be caused by your microwave, cell phone, and any static electricity. To achieve the most consistency possible when operating your equipment, keep this in mind.
What type of scale is most accurate?
The most precise scales are analytical scales, which provide a thorough breakdown of your body’s composition. Some of the analytical scales on our list may measure up to 17 different parameters.
How do I calibrate my digital scale?
Turn on the scale after placing it on a level, flat surface. Allow the scale to steady its readings for a few seconds. To start the calibration mode, find the calibration switch (some scales require a series of numbers on the control panel). Check the reading after placing the quarter in the center of the scale.
