IDENTIFY YOUR MULTI-COOK KETTLE SA 9014

USING YOUR KETTLE

To open the lid press the button and lift upward. To close press down the lid firmly.

• Remove all packaging, stickers or other accessories from the inside and outside of the kettle.
• To open the lid press the button and lift upward. To close press down the lid firmly.
• Adjust the length of the cord by winding it under the base. Wedge the cord in the slot.
• Place the base on a clean, cool and smooth surface.
• Fill the kettle with the required amount of water and place the kettle on the base. Connect to the mains and turn on the switch.
• The kettle will turn off automatically once the water has boiled.
• Ensure that the kettle has stopped automatically or turn it off manually before removing it from the base.

HOW TO MAKE THE NOODLES

• Fill the kettle with the required amount of water. Turn on the switch. The kettle turns off automatically once the water is boiled .
• Open the Lid, mix the masala powder, put the noodles and stir.
• Switch on the multifunction switch.
• Stir in between for few minutes till cooked.
• The left over water will evaporate quickly.
• The noodles are ready to serve.

HOW TO BOIL THE MILK

• Pour the milk ( up to 1 llt) in the Kettle.
• Switch ON for 6-7 minutes or till it is about to boil.
• Switch OFF. Open the lid and turn ON the multifunction switch.
• The Milk will boil in a short time . Switch OFF the multifunction switch.

CLEANING

• Unplug the kettle and allow to cool down, then clean with a soft damp sponge.
• Never immerse the kettle or its base in water.
• Never use abrasive cleaning pads.
• The kettle is provided with a removable filter. Remove and clean the filter under running tap water after every 5-6 uses. After cleaning place the filter back in position.

DESCALING

• Descale the kettle once a month.
• To descale, fill the kettle with half a litre of vinegar and leave it to stand for 2 hours without heating.
• Any spots remaining inside can be cleaned up with a damp cloth.
• After descaling empty and rinse the kettle 5-6 times before using. Repeat if necessary.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not place the kettle on or near slippery or hot surfaces.
• The kettle must be used with its original base only.
• Use the kettle only for boiling water.
• Do not fill it above the maximum level or below the minimum level.
• Do not use the kettle without water.
• Never lift the lid when the kettle is in function.
• When using the kettle for the first 2-3 times, throw away the water because it may not be very clean.
• When the kettle is not in use, ensure that the power is off.

WARRANTY

This GLEN Multi-Cook Kettle is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorised service centre, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge.

This warranty is not valid if :

• The use and care instructions have not been followed.
• Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
• The repair work is carried out by persons not authorised by the company.
• Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
• Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under warranty
• The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.

Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.
