INTRODUCTION

The 3 in 1 Multi cook can boil, steam and cook foods quickly. It can boil eggs, vegetables like broccoli & corn, sweet potato & meats can be steamed too. It has a nonstick heating plate for making instant noodles, scrambled or fried eggs. This appliance has an automatic off feature that cuts off the power supply after the water is finished. An indicator light is also present on the front side which lights up when the unit is in operation.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE:
Read all safety Et operating instructions before use. Check the product for any damages, do not use in case of found damage. Carefully remove all packaging and stickers from the product. During operation, the appliance must be placed on a level surface, resistant to heat and water. Before connecting to the mains, check whether the voltage indicated on the rating label is consistent with your voltage used. Do not immerse the unit and mains plug in water or other fluids. If the appliance, accidently falls into water, pull out the power cord immediately and get it checked byan expert before using it again. The unit may be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damage arising from improper usage or handling. Clean the water bowl. the egg holder and lid with a damp cloth. Ensure that all parts are dry before use. Do not position the appliance on or near hot surfaces or open flames such as hotplates or gas flames. Do not operate the appliance underneath sensitive objects or furniture such as wall-cupboards, as hot steam is emitted from the lid during use. Keep the power cord away from any hot part of the appliance. Do not wind the cord around the appliance until it has completely cooled down. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use. Be careful when using the egg-piercer, as there may be a risk ofinjury. The exterior surfaces and the heating pan become hot during use and will remain so for sometime afterwards. Grip the hot appliance only by its handle.

USING YOUR MULTI COOK SA 3035

Boil Eggs

  • Fill the measuring cup completely with cold water and pour the measured quantity into the heating pan. It can use the water quantity to select the desired degree of egg hardness (see below table for recommendation of water quantity)
  • Preparing eggs before boiling, use the egg piercer of measuring cup bottom to pierce the egg shell. This allows the air inside the egg to dissipate as it expands during boiling. It prevents the shell from bursting open.
  • Fill the water into heating pan, do not fill more than 320ml. Otherwise, water may spill out.
  • Place the eggs smaller side down and bigger side up, fit the holder onto the heating pan and put the lid on.
  • Set the timer to select the desired degree of egg hardness (see below table for the recommendation of time)
  • Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket. Select the required cooking time by rotating the timer in a clockwise direction. The power indicator light will switch on and steamer starts heating up.
  • When the cooking time is over, the indication light goes out, and the timer will give a ring. The appliance will stop cooking. If the eggs are cooked before the timer has fully counted down, rotate the timer control switch in anticlockwise direction to “0”.
  • Switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket Open the lid. Caution: When the lid is opened, hot steam will escape, it is very hot surface.
  • Remove the egg holder with the eggs from the heating pan and place it immediately under cold running water. Caution: carefully the egg holder surface is very hot.
  • Note: if the eggs are not removed from the multi cook without delay, they will continue to harden.
  • Overheat protection: The product is equipped with overheat protection. As soon as all the water in heating pan has evaporated. The overheat protection switch will automatically cut off the power, the indication light will off.
  • In this case, unplug the power plug and allow the device to cool down. You can then run the device again with water in it.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Please pullout the plug from the socket after every use.
  • Do not clean the appliance until the power is turned off and the main body is cool to touch.
  • The shelf and cover can be cleaned with mild soapy liquid and sponge. Do not clean with hard steel wire so as to avoid any surface damage.
  • Do not use any metal utensil or spatula on the non-stick cooking surface as that will damage the non-stick coating.
  • Wipe the heating pan with a damp cloth only. Thoroughly rinse the egg holder and wipe dry afterwards. The lid maybe washed.
  • Any build-up of deposits on the heating pan can be removed using a solution of water and vinegar. Then let the appliance run through one boiling cycle using fresh cold water to clean it of any vinegar residue.

SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES

  • The device heats up quickly, but slowly cools down. Beware of hot water and escaping steam when the unit is in operation.
  • Never move the appliance during its operation.
  • Ensure that the mains cable is not in contact with any hot surface during usage.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.

IMPORTANT SAFTY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please keep the children away when this unit is working.
  • Place the egg boiler on flat surface during use. Do not press hard so as to avoid any damage of the power switch.
  • Do not add the water or pull out the plug when the water is dry-boiled. Please do not touch the heating plate so as to protect yourself from being scaled.
  • Do not connect the power when the cover is left off so as to avoid any personal injury caused by the spilt boiling water.
  • The unit shall not be used on the surface or in the vicinity of a heat-labile object such as carpet and plastics. Do not put those materials which will be dampened by steam on the top of this unit.
  • Be cautious about the steam from the vent so as to prevent yourself being scaled.
  • No water should go inside the egg boiler so as to avoid any short circuit.
  • In case of any failure or breakdown, do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Take it to the authorized service center.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical. sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction con-cerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • The appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications.

  • Whisk egg with cream or milk or filling of veggies of your choice into the egg mixture.

  • Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.

  • Use the timer control switch to turn the multi cook on, suggest to set time from 10-20mins.

  • Heat a the pan for a second or minute, add butter and let it melt in heating pan, orpourintooil(don’texceed 15ml)

  • Pour in the egg mixture, stir briefly, then letthe egg run to side

  • Sprinkle with cheese or filling of choice, then once the top is set, fold and serve.

  • When finished cooking, turn the timer control too min, the appliance will turn off. Remove the plug from the wall socket and remove the egg, be careful the outer body of appliance is very hot.

  • Prepare and whisk the egg mixture as desired quantity.

  • Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.

  • Use the timer control switch to turn the unit on, suggest to set time from 10-15 mins.

  • Heat the heating pan for a minute, add butter and let it melt in heating pan, orpourintooil(don’texceed 15ml).

  • Pour in the egg mixture and let it sit without stirring for some time. Stir with a wooden spoon, lifting and folding it over from the bottom of the heating pan.

  • Let it sit for sometime then stir and fold again.

  • Repeat until the eggs are softly set and slightly runny in places. Remove from the heating pan and leave for a moment to finish cooking.

  • Fried eggs can be prepared in different ways on the heating pan.

  • Insert the plug into suitable wall socket.

  • Use the timer control switch to turn on, set the timer according to the dish being made. Pour few drops ofoil (don’t exceed 15ml) on the heating pan. Butter can also be used.

  • Sunny side up: After adding oil, crack the egg gently over the heating pan and cook until the white portion is set Remove from heating pan b sprinkle salt b pepper.

  • Over Medium egg: Crack egg into the heating pan b cook until the white portion is set. Flip the egg and cook till the yolk is slightly set. Remove b season with salt b pepper.

  • Over Hard egg: Crack egg into the heating pan. Cook until the white portion is set. Flip b cook again till done. Remove b season with salt b pepper.

  • Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
  • Use the timer control switch to turn on the multi cook, set the time to 10-15 mins for broccoli ft green beans.
  • Pour 160 mlof water ft let it boil.
  • Cut the broccoli into small florets ft trim the edges of beans, adjust on egg slot tray. Put on the lid and let the vegetables steam.
  • The vegetables will steam till the light goes out and the timer will give a bell. The appliance will stop cooking.
  • If the vegetables are cooked before the set time, rotate the timer control switch in the anticlockwise direction to “O”.
  • Open the lid ft take out the steamed vegetables. Remove the plug from wall socket.

  • Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
  • Use the timer control switch to turn on the multi cook, set the time to 15-25 mins.
  • Pour 200 mlof water and let it boil.
  • Cut the corn on cob into small pieces ft arrange them over egg slot tray,
  • The corn cobs will steam till the light goes out and the timer will give a bell. The appliance will stop cooking.
  • Open the lid ft take out the steamed vegetables. Remove the plug from wall socket
  • Wipe it clean and dry before storage.

This GLEN Multi Cook is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorised service centre, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge.
