WARRANTY

This GLEN Sandwich Maker is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorized service center, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge.• This warranty is not valid if:

  •  The use and care instructions have not been followed.
  •  Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
  •  The repair work is carried out by persons not authorized by the company.
  •  Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
  •  Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under warranty
  •  The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.

Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.

USING YOUR SANDWICH MAKER

  •  Before using the sandwich maker clean the non-stick plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
  •  Preheat the sandwich maker, before using. For pre-heating close the sandwich maker and switch ON the power. The red light glows indicating the power ON.
  •  When the unit is preheated the green light will glow. Now the sandwich maker is ready for use.
  •  Grease the cooking plate with edible oil. Prepare the sandwiches and apply butter from the outer side.
  • Place the stuffed bread slices on the cooking plates and close the sandwich maker. Lock the handle and toast for 5-6 minutes. The browning results may vary with the temperature of the bread, the thick­ness or the moisture content of the bread or the input voltage. For extra browning toast for 2-3 minutes more. The green light remains ON during the cooking process.
  •  Remove the sandwiches with the help of ‘tongs’
  •  Switch OFF the power supply and unplug from socket. Allow the toaster to cool down before cleaning.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  •  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
  •  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  •  Always allow adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not allow the appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials during use. Do not use under cupboards or curtains.
  •  Avoid touching the metal parts during operation, as they are hot.
  •  Always turn the power off, remove the plug and allow the sandwich maker to cool before cleaning.
  •  Butter the outer side of the bread to obtain a Golden brown toasting.
  •  Sprinkle a teaspoonful of sugar on the buttered side to make the toasted sandwiches crispier and tastier.
  •  Do not use any metallic or sharp objects for scratching the plates, as this could damage the teflon coating.
  •  Do not allow children to use the appliance or touch the appliance when in use.
  •  Wipe the outside of the toaster with a barely damp cloth. Do not use steel wool pads or other abrasive cleaners.
  •  Do not immerse the unit, cord set or plug in water or liquid of any kind.
  •  The sandwich maker can be easily stacked vertically to save space when it is not in use.
