Cleaning

Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool down, then clean with a soft damp sponge.
Never immerse the kettle or its base in water.
Never use abrasive cleaning pads.
Clean the filter slots.

Descaling

Descale the kettle once a month.
To descale, fill the kettle with half a liter of vinegar and leave it to stand for 2 hours without heating.
Any spots remaining inside can be cleaned up with a damp cloth.
After descaling empty and rinse the kettle 5-6 times before using. Repeat if necessary.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not place the kettle on or near slippery or hot surfaces.
The kettle must be used on rated voltage.
Use the kettle only for boiling water.
Do not fill it above the maximum level or below the minimum level.
Do not use the kettle without water.
Never lift the lid when the kettle is in function.
When using the kettle for the first 2-3 times, throw away the water because it may not be very clean.

USING YOUR KETTLE

To open the lid hold from the center and lift upward. To close press down the lid firmly.
Remove all packaging, stickers, or other accessories from the inside and outside of the kettle.
Place the kettle on a clean, cool, and smooth surface.
Fill the kettle with the required amount of water. Connect to the mains and turn on the switch.
The kettle will turn off automatically once the water has boiled.
Ensure that the kettle has stopped automatically or turn it off manually before pouring the contents.

WARRANTY

This GLEN Travel Kettle is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorized service center, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge.
This warranty is not valid if:

The use and care instructions have not been followed.
Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or commercial use.
The repair work is carried out by persons not authorized by the company.
Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under the warranty
The Bill/Cash memo and copy of the warranty card are not presented.

Under no circumstances, whether based on a limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.
