IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• When using electrical appliances, the below basic precautions should always be followed, including the following
•  Read all instructions.
•  Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the Sandwich maker.
•  Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not pay with the appliance.
•  The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Always allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• The applier Can be used for children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
•  Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
•  To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquid. If this has happened, do not use this appliance any more; dispose of the appliance.
• Use the appliance only for the mentioned purpose, namely as a radiator for domestic purpose.
• Do not use it for any other application as it could get dangerous.
• Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
• Never expose the appliance to atmospheric conditions (rain, sun, etc.)
• The appliance must be always placed on a flat and stable surface. Switch the appliance off and unplug it before cleaning.
• When the appliance is not in use switch it off and unplug it.
• Make harmless the parts of the appliance which could be handled hazardously by children for playing.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• Do not put the cable on the appliance when it is still warm A correct operation of the appliance is obtained when the radiator is installed vertically.
• Do not switch on the fan heater near pieces of furniture, curtains, shelves, etc. Do not use the appliance near liquids or inflammable matters.
•  This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
  • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
  • Farm houses By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
  • Bed and breakfast type environments.
•  Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.

IDENTIFY YOUR Halogen Heater

FOR FIRST USE

The surface of the product may become very hot during operation, which may cause stains, discoloration or smears on the desktop. It is recommended to place a non-plastic pad between the appliance and the desktop.

•  Unpack the product and place it on a flat table, and wipe the surface and heating plates with a damp soft cloth. Then connect the appliance into a rated power suply, Press the On/Off switch to let the appliance start preheating. It is recommended to apply a layer of vegetable oil on the heating plates before preheating. This helps protect non-stick surfaces. Some odors can be smelled during the initial preheating. This is normal and will disappear after one or two use.
•  Before use, check whether the Surfaces of the heating plates are clean and free of dust and food residue. If necessary, wipe them with a damp cloth.

USING YOUR  Halogen Heater

• Press the ON-OFF button, the center Halogen will switch on (400W). Press the next O button, the top Halogen will switch on (400W)
• if you press further the next (button, the bottom Halogen will switch on (400W). So all the 3 heaters will be on (total 1200W).
• You can choose these three heat settings to suit the required warmth.
• A separate Button is provided if you want to use the swing function for wider distribution of heat.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always disconnect the heater from the mains supply before cleaning and wait till the item is Cool.
• Clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth.
• Clean with the help of sofi brush.
• DO NOT use waxes or polishes as these may react with the heater and cause discoloration.
• Clean the grill rom dust.

WARRANTY

This GLEN Halogen Heater is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorized service centre, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge. This warranty is not valid if

• The use and care instructions have not been followed.
• Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
• The repair work is carried out by persons not authorised by the company.
• Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
• Normal wear &tear of the product is not covered under warranty
• The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.
• Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages.
• Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.
