Forza 850T LUM 8 Inch Omni Directional Speaker with Integrated Landscape
Lighting
FORZA 850T LUM Omni Speaker
The Forza-850T LUM is designed to illuminate pathways and borders and to provide 360-degree full bandwidth sound. Unlike solar-powered lights and Bluetooth speakers, the Forza-850T LUM does not require replacement batteries nor will a wireless connection be lost. The LED light connects to a low- voltage transformer. The LED light requires 12 Volts and up to 10 Watts. The light color or temperature is 4000K, commonly called “Cool,” just above neutral. The maximum light output is 800 Lumens, similar to a 60-Watt incandescent lightbulb. The FORZA-850T LUM is a durable and weatherproof Omni speaker that provides outstanding sound. Ideal for a variety of landscape applications, delivering clear highs and mids with smooth, strong bass response.

LED Lighting Considerations
Note: We do not provide the low voltage transformer. The choice of the
transformer should be decided by the landscape lighting designer or if you are
installing it yourself can be sourced directly online from sites like Amazon.
The LED light requires 12 Volts and up to 10 Watts.
The light color or temperature is 4000K, commonly called “Cool”, just above
neutral. The maximum light output is 800 Lumens, similar to a 60-Watt
incandescent light bulb. The area of illumination is approx. 1.5′ There are
two wires coming from the bottom of the Forza850T-LUM one is for connecting to
an amplifier for sound and the other is for
connecting to a transformer for the LED light and is labeled “LED Light”.
The wire for the LED light can be extended. A 5% reduction in brightness can
be expected using 14 gauge wire over 190 feet. If you are partially burying
the Forza850T-LUM, please experiment with the depth and its effect on the
lighting effect you are trying to achieve.
When in doubt, consult a landscape lighting designer.
Step 1
Evaluate the location of the speaker. Project the length of the speaker wire
you will run.
Note: when purchasing additional direct
burial speaker wire, make sure the wire gauge is consistent. Omni speakers
reproduce sound in a full 360 degree and a speaker will cover a large area
with sound if properly placed.
Step 2
Once you have decided on the location for your in-ground speaker, dig a trench
about 5” leading from the speaker to the input source for the speaker cables.
For the FORZA850T-LUM Omni speaker, dig a trench hole approximately 16” in
diameter and 5” deep for the speaker enclosure.
Step 3
Place the Omni speaker in the hole you have dug. Run the direct burial wire
through the trench to the location of the amplifier or receiver.
Please note: When connecting the additional wire be sure to use water-
tight wire connectors.
Step 4
Use the Tap switch located on the speaker to select the appropriate setting
best suited for your application.
Step 5
Connect the wires from the Omni Please make sure the polarity on the cables
and the speaker are in sync. speaker to the amplifier or receiver.
Optional: Using an outdoor volume control
makes it convenient for you to adjust the volume outside.
Step 6
test the speaker. If the speaker Turns on your amplifier or receiver to cover
the submerged part of the speaker.
