Button Instructions

ON/OFF Button
Long press 3s to turn ON/OFF; Short press to switch sleeping mode, another short press to wake up.

Volume Button
Control volume up/down for loudspeaker.

HDMI 1080P 720p
Long press “VOL+” and “VOL-” for 3s to switch HDMI output resolution (1080p/720p).

Muting/Recording Button
Short press to mute microphone; Long press to record video. (SD card needed to be inserted. It’s not allowed to start recording during a meeting.)

Mode Button
Short press to switch different mode;
Long press 3s to lock screen FOV.

Instructions for Use

 Connect to TV/displayer:
  1. Use the �m USB Cable to connect Kandao Meeting S with the power adapter.

  2. Use HDMI cable to connect the TV/displayer with Kandao Meeting S.
    (HDMI cable is not provided.)

  3. Long press the power button to turn it on. When the led light up in green, can use the remote to operate.

  4. Network connecting through a network cable or through WIFI which can be chosen in the network setting page. Besides this, WIFI can also be connected in setting menu. (If your displayer does not support 1080p 30Hz, please simultaneously press “VOL+” and “VOL-” button to switch to 720p.

  5. Use mouse or the remote to choose the App store . Download and install video conferencing software(钉钉,Skype,ZOOM,Google Meet and so on). Return to the home page to run a software and start a meeting. The led light will light up in blue when running a meeting.

  6. Short press the power button to enter “sleep mode” after a meeting, while short press again to wake up. Long press the power button to turn off Kandao Meeting S.

 Connect to computer:
  1. Use a two-meter USB cable to connect Kandao Meeting S and the adapter.
  2. Use a 1.5-meter USB cable to connect Kandao Meeting S and a computer.
  3. Long press the power button  to turn on Kandao Meeting S, with the led lighting up in green.
  4. Start a video conferencing software on the computer (Ding Talk,Skype,ZOOM,Google Meet and so on). Choose Kandao Meeting S as the microphone/loudspeaker/camera device in the conferencing software. When connecting successfully the led will light up in blue. The remote can be used to control Kandao Meeting S after successful connecting.
  5. Short press the power button  ****to enter “sleep mode” after a meeting, while short press again to wake it up. For turning off Kandao Meeting S, long press the power button for 3s until the led light o ff.

Note:
When connected to a computer, Kandao Meeting S enters UVC mode. In UVC mode, HDMI connection, mouse/keyboard connection, and network cable connection are not available

System Update

Use HDMI cable to connect Kandao Meeting S with TV/displayer. After connected an available network, Kandao Meeting S will pop up an update notification if there is a new firmware. Click “  Update Now ” on the prompt, or choose system update in the setting page to update.


Remote Controller

  1. Use with two AAA batteries to get start.

  2. Short press the power button on remote controller to enter “sleep mode” or wake it up.
    Long press the power button for 3s on remote controller to turn off Kandao Meeting S. If want to reboot, press the power button for 3s on the camera, Kandao Meeting S.

  3. Short press mouse arrow button on the upper right of the remote controller, a mouse arrow will show on the screen. Use the mouse arrow with the OK button to control the system.

Two methods of pairing the unpaired remote controller and Kandao Meeting S:

  1. Automatically pairing: Simultaneously press the “OK” and “VOL-” for 3 seconds. The led will flash when pairing. Once paired successfully, the screen will show “Controller connected”.
  2. Manually pairing(connect to TV/displayer): Simultaneously press the “OK” and “VOL-” for 3 seconds. The led will flash when pairing. Connect a mouse with Kandao Meeting S. Go to setting page, and enter Bluetooth menu to choose “Kandao Meeting ”. Once paired successfully, the screen will show “Controller connected”.

① Do not place or fix the product on an unstable surface. Failure to follow this precaution may cause the product to loosen or fall off, causing an accident or damage to device.
② When using external power supply connection, please observe all safety rules of.
③The lens of Kandao Meeting S Conferencing Camera is made of glass. If the lens is damaged, be sure to handle it carefully to avoid being scratched by the broken lens/glass.
④The temperature of the camera may rise during normal usage. If this occurs, turn off the device and leave it to cool before using again.
⑤ This product is not a toy and you are solely responsible for complying with all local laws, regulations and restrictions.
⑥ Please do not use Kandao Meeting S Conferencing Camera for unauthorized monitoring, candid shooting or in any way that violates personal privacy regulations.
⑦ Precautions: do not put the camera in extremely cold or hot environment. Extremely cold or hot conditions may cause the camera to temporarily stop working properly
⑧ Warning: there is no protection for two lenses of Kandao Meeting S Conferencing Cameraafter taking off the lens cover. Please use it carefully to avoid lens scratches. Avoid placing the lens directly on any surface. Lens scratches are not covered by the warranty
