Important Safeguards
- Please read the manual carefully before operating the projector. To ensure a stable power supply, please use the 240V AC adapter for mains AC power OR the 12V DC cable for powering the projector from a portable power source such as an AGM battery.
- Please use the power supply and cable indicated on the rating label. The projector should be kept away from clothes, sofas, and anything that may block the ventilation scoop. Please keep the unit away from ammable and explosive materials.
- Please do not disassemble the unit yourself as this will invalidate the warranty service. To protect your eyes, do not stare directly at the lens when the projector is on. The projector must be kept away from water and any other liquids.
- To prevent electric shock, please keep the projector out of the rain and away from moisture. It is recommended to switch off the projector after it has run for 6 hours non-stop Please use the original foam and other cushioning materials when transporting the projector.
- If the projector does not work, please contact the KickAss support team, contact details are at the end of this manual.

Power On/Off
Connect the power cord to the projector and connect the power cord to the
outlet before the power is turned on.
Once the projector is plugged in, it will be in Standby mode.
Power on: Press the power button on the remote control once, and the power
indicator will turn blue and steady, you can turn on the projector.
Power off: Press the power button on the remote control twice, the power
indicator changes from blue to steady red, and turn off the projector.
The projector can be powered by 240V AC using the AC adapter or by 12V DC
using the cigarette plug lead.
WARNING: Do not attempt to power the unit from 240V AC using the cigarette plug lead.
Focus/Keystone

Some projectors focus by rotating the lens, and the trapezoidal correction is located on the back of the machine.

Focusing
Place the projector lens perpendicularly to the projection screen or curtain wall, and adjust the focus dial until the image is clear, that means the image focusing is finished -
Keystone Correction
Please adjust the “Keystone Correction” dial ring until the image is displayed
normally.
Note: The projector has only vertical keystone correction and no
horizontal correction.
Make sure your projector is level with the projected image.
Standard Setting
Please refer to the following table to adjust your picture size and distance. (From the lens to the screen).

Multimedia Play
Step 1 : Insert the USB flash drive into the projector’s USB interface.
Step 2: Select “Media” and press “OK” to enter.
Step 3: Select the one you want to play.
Signal Source Settings
Step 1: Press “OK” button to ensure “source”.
Step 2: Make sure that the signal source you selected is consistent with
the access signal source.
- The signal sources include “HDMI” and “AV”.
- The image settings can be set as your favorite mode including “Image Mode”, “Aspect Ratio”, “Brightness”, “Contrast”, “Color” and “Sharpness”.
- The sound settings can be set as your favorite sound. Optional “Sound Mode”, “Bass”, “treble”, “Balance”, and “Equalizer”.
WiFi Connection
Step 1: Choose “Setup” on the right of the interface, then “Network”.
Step 2: Find “Wifi”.
Step 3: Choose “Scan”. Select your wireless network from the list and
type in the password.
Step 4: Press the “Exit” key on the remote control and then confirm the
connection.
Bluetooth
The sound output of the KickAss projector can be streamed to your Bluetooth-
compatible speakers.
Step 1. Choose “Setup” on the right of the interface, then “Bluetooth”.
Step 2. Ensure Bluetooth mode is “ON” and ensure your speakers or
Bluetooth device is in the pairing mode.
Step 3. Select scan to search for the Bluetooth device.
Step 4. Once the scan has finished selecting the device to connect to.
The sound output from the projector will now be directed from the internal
speaker to the connected Bluetooth speaker or device.
Miracast
Step 1: Select the Miracast from the home page.
Step 2: Open the “wireless display” function of the Android device.
Step 3: Select the corresponding projector device name.
Attention: Note that different Android devices have different ways to open the “wireless display”. For details, please refer to the instructions for Android devices.
iOS Cast
Attention: The projector needs to be connected to the network firstly when
using the Apple Airplay for the first time or finishing the projector upgrade.
Step 1: Select “iOS Cast” on the home page.
Step 2: iOS devices and projectors must be connected to the same network,
or connect the iOS device to the wireless network issued by the projector.
Step 3: Open the control center of the iOS device, Choose “Screen
Mirroring”.
Step 4: Choose the name of the projector device.
iOS Play Mode
Step 1: Select “Setup” in the “Home” interface.
Step 2: Find “Advanced”.
Step 3: Can set the desired iOS Play Mode.
iOS Play Mode:
Screen casting HD / screen mirroring HD / screen casting SD/screen mirroring
SD.
Setup
Step 1: Select “Setup” in the “Home” interface.
Step 2: Find “Projection”.
Step 3: Can set the desired projection mode.
