Configure the Smart Plug

  •  The Smart Plug only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi network. • The default SSID (WiFi name) of the Smart Plug is Tenda_Smart Plug_xxxx. XXXX indicates the last four characters of its MAC address which can be found on the device.
  • Download the Tenda Beli App onto your mobile WiFi-enabled device, such as a smartphone, by searching for Tenda Beli in the App Store or Google Play or by scanning the QR code. Then, install the App.
  •  Follow the instructions in the App to configure your Smart Plug.

  • Q1: What devices can I control with the Smart Plug?
    A1: You can control desk lamps, coffee makers, humidifiers, tower fans, and any other small household appliances whose rated power does not exceed the maximum power of the Smart Plug.

  • Q2: What should I do when the LED Indicator of the Smart Plug llghts solid orange?
    A2: Try the following solutions:

    • Check whether the WIFI network of your wireless router Is enabled. If not, enable it.
    • Check whether the WiFi name or password of your wireless router is changed. If so, reset the Smart Plug, and connect it to your wireless router again with the new WiFi name or password.
    • Reset the Smart Plug, and reconfigure it using the Tenda Beli App. Reset method: Hold down the button of the Smart Plug for about 5 seconds and release it when the LED indicator blinks orange.
  • Q3: How to control the Smart Plug with voice-activated devices, such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant?
