PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS:
- When performing single input pressure measurements, use the positive(+) port input fitting located to the top (blue) when looking at the front face of the manometer. Positive pressures will display as positive results; negative pressure will display a negative result.
- To measure pressures with respect to the ambient area, place the end of the tube connected to the positive port to the area to be measured and leave the negative port(-) open. The display will show the pressure with respect to the ambient area where the meter is located.
- To measure differential pressures, connect tubes to both the positive and negative ports. Place the end of the tube connected to the positive port in the area expected to have a higher pressure and the end of the tube connected to the negative port in the area where a lower pressure is expected. The pressure difference between the two areas will be displayed on the manometer.
-
OVER PRESSURE INDICATOR: The display will flash if the pressure exceeds 60 inches of water (positive or negative). Disconnect the manometer immediately. The manometer will not be damaged as long as the pressure does not go above the maximum rated pressure.
-
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF: The manometer turns itself off after approximately 10 minutes. If this happens when connected to a
pressure source, simply turn it back on. Correct readings will resume without disconnecting the pressure source. -
NEGATIVE READINGS: The minus sign on the display indicates that the pressure measured is below atmospheric pressure.
When finished, power devices off and store in a dry, temperature control
led* area.
- Storing they JACK MANO™ device in extreme cold or heat can severely impact the battery life and display refresh rate.
To power off the YJACK MANO™, press and hold the power button until the display pixel colors are inverted.
