BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the Multi-Cooker for the first time, wash the components except
for the power base
and power cord using a dishcloth or non-abrasive sponge with warm, soapy
water. Rinse the components with clean water and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION:
Do not submerge the heating surface and power base in water or liquid of
any kind. After use, you may wipe the heating surface with a damp, nonabrasive
cloth.

HOW TO USE
- Put the ingredients into the inner pot and add water.
- Place the inner pot in the body. Make sure that the inner pot is directly in contact with the heating plate by turning it slightly from right to left until it seats properly.
- Wipe the surface of the inner pot before use. If it is wet, it may cause noise while cooking. It may damage the unit, if any foreign matter on it.
- Cover with the lid.
- If the lid is not securely covered, cooking will be affected.
- Plug in. Turn the rotary control knob and adjust the temperature setting to obtain the desired degree of cooking. The indicator light tells you when cooking has started.
- Do not plug in until you are ready to cook.
- During cooking, the power lamp will turn on and off, showing that an even temperature is being maintained.
- After the water has come to a boil, add ingredients to cook.
- Use caution when removing lid, due to high heat and steam during operation.
- After use, turn the rotary knob to OFF and unplug the power cord.
HOW TO CLEAN
- Be sure to unplug before cleaning.
- Please clean after the main body and plate have cooled down.
- Wash the inner pot in warm and soapy water using a sponge. Rinse with water thoroughly. Then wipe dry with a cloth. Do not clean with abrasive sponges.
- Wipe body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse is water.
- Residues may stick on the heating plate. To ensure proper contact with the inner pot, remove any particles that may have come in contact with the heating plate and wipe with a cloth again.

CAUTIONS
- The multi cooker is intended for indoor use only.
- Plug into a properly wired wall outlet. Before you plug it in, make sure the voltages of the unit is the same as your local supply.
- Do not place the multi cooker on a wet or unstable surface or near a heat source.
- Do not use sharp metal utensils when cooking to avoid damaging and scratching the non-stick cooking pot.
- The unit becomes hot when is used. DO NOT touch the lid with your hand, and do not place your face directly over the steam coming from the multi cooker.
- To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the appliance and electric cord in water or liquid.
- Do not attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance, contact an authorized repair center for assistance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- This appliance cooks using extreme heat. Improper use MAY RESULT IN scalding injury.
- This appliance has been designed for use with a 120V electrical outlet only. DO NOT USE any other electrical outlet.
- The Unit generates high heat and steam during operation. All necessary precautions MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID fire, burns, and another personal injury during operation.
- NEVER OPERATE the unit near any flammable materials, such as dish towels, paper towels, curtains, or paper plates.
- Always plug the Power Cord directly into the wall outlet. NEVER USE this Unit with an extension cord of any kind. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Anyone who has not fully read and understood all operating and safety instructions contained in this manual is NOT QUALIFIED TO OPERATE or clean this appliance.
- If this Unit falls or accidentally becomes immersed In water, unplug it from the wall outlet immediately. DO NOT REACH into the water.

- If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the Cord. DO NOT USE or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance.
- If the appliance has a POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other): This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact an electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug.
