Thank you for purchasing our Tayama° Electric Mini Stew Pot. It combines traditional cooking technology with modern home small appliance design. It is a product independently developed by our company with a stylish appearance, exquisite craftsmanship, and is safe and reliable to use. How does the electric stew pot operate? The heating source transfers heat slowly and evenly to the delicate food in the stew pot through the steam and water which can help retain the natural original flavors and nutrition of the food. Preset functions included: Dessert. Steam, Porridge, Bird’s nest, Keep warm, Soup, and adjustable timer feature.

Instructions
- First add water into the body of the cooker to the maximum water line,then carefully place the ceramic stew pot ( filled with food) into the body and cover the cooker with the transparent cover. (Rotate the cover to ensure the cooker is properly covered)

- Press the “Function/Cancel” button to select between the different functions,wait for the flashing light to stop and the function will be selected. For example after the “Steam” function is selected, the default timer is set for “1.0” (means 1 hour). Press ‘+” or “-” to adjust the heating time within 5 seconds after you have selected the function. The indicator light will stop flashing and enter cooking mode. Refer to below chart for the adjustable time ranges per function.
- If you want to change your selection, press the “Function/Cancel” button and press until it lands on the preferred function.

Delay Start Function
In the standby state, press the -Function/Cancer button to select the desired function, and then press the -Delay Start’ button to adjust the preset start cooking time,After selecting-Delay Start” then press the”+” button to adjust hours before cooking will start, and it will automatically save the delay start time within 5 seconds.Program”Delay Start- up to 24 hours.
Important Safeguards

- This appliance has been designed for use with a 120V electrical outlet only. DO NOT USE any other electrical outlet.
- UNPLUG FROM OUTLET when not in use and before cleaning. ALLOW TO COOL before handling components
- Do not exceed the maximum water level, improper usage MAY RESULT IN scalding injury and damage to property.
- DO NOT MOVE the product while it is in operation to prevent personal injury, fire, or electric shock.
- DO NOT PLACE on or near hot surfaces, such as a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- NOT LET Power Cord hang over edge of table or touch hot surfaces.
- ALWAYS USE the appliance on a flat, level heat-resistant table top or counter top to avoid damaging the surface of a table, add a protective silicon mat or pot holder if needed.
- DO NOT PLACE the ceramic pot directly on fire to cook food
- DO NOT OPERATE any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. If damage occurs, contact customer service.
- If the electric cooker is dry-boiling, please unplug the cooker and add more water.
- NEVER USE harsh and abrasive chemicals or hard brushes and stainless steel wire ball to clean the appliance.
- 00 NOT TOUCH the heating element to prevent scalding and personal injury.
- 00 NOT PLACE objects above this product to avoid damage by hot steam escaping.
- NEVER OPERATE the unit near any flammable materials. such as dish towels, paper towels.curtains. plastic or paper plates to prevent I ire.
- The unit generates high heat and steam during operation. All necessary precautions MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID fire, burns, and other personal injury during operation.
- Always plug the Power Cord directly into the wall outlet NEVER USE this Unit with an extension cord of any kind. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- This appliance IS NOT INTENDED for use by persons with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are under the supervision of a responsible person or have been given proper instruction in using the appliance. This appliance is not intended for use by children.
- Do not open the top cover immediately after cooking has completed, use caution and wait a few minutes after turning off the cooker to prevent the steam from scalding.

Cleaning and Maintenance

After use. unplug the power cord and wait until the components have cooled before handling or cleaning.

Never use harsh and abrasive chemicals or hard brushes and stainless steel
wire ball to clean the appliance. -
Do not immerse the whole electric cooker in water to avoid damaging the appliance.

The outer and inner surface of the cooker can be wiped with a damp towel.

When cleaning the ceramic pot, handle with care and avoid high temperature states to prolong the longevity of the product. Hand wash is recommended.

When storing away, please clean and dry the unit before placing in a well ventilated area.

To clean the scales from the boiling water, please use citric acid or vinegar with water mix to clean and maintain the cooker in excellent working condition.

- The food is not cooked
- Check to see if the correct function was selected
- Make sure there is enough water
- Remove excess food from the stew pot (if overfilled)
