Note: To turn off the appliance connected to the controller, rotate the dial counter-clockwise till you hear a tick sound. To turn it on, rotate the dial clockwise till you hear a tick sound. Do not exceed electrical ratings.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
When using your Fan Speed Controller, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment. Read all instructions before using this product.

Observe work area conditions. Do not expose to moisture. Do not operate in damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit.

Maximum amp requirement. Do not use any tools or devices that require more than 4.8 amps with this speed controller.

Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area.
Do not let them handle machines, tools, or extension cords. -
Check for damaged parts. Before using Fan Speed Controller, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it would operate properly and perform its intended function. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician. Do not use Fan Speed Controller if any switch does not turn on and off properly.

Use proper size and type extension cord. If an extension cord is required, it must be the proper size and type to supply the correct current to the tool without heating up. Otherwise, the extension cord could melt and catch fire, or cause electrical damage to the Fan Speed Controller.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Before using, READ and UNDERSTAND all operation instructions, safety warnings and precautions, and maintenance procedures in this manual.
- Verify that Fan Speed Controller is in the OFF position.
- Plug Fan Speed Controller into an electrical outlet or extension cord. Plug your tools or device into the fan speed controller(see safety precaution #5 regarding extension cords).
- Start by turning clockwise the knob to HIGH and gradually decrease the power to your desired power level.
- When finished, turn knob back to OFF.
- Unplug Fan Speed Controller and remove from the electrical outlet or extension cord.
