WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.

- Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct use.
- Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.
- Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.
- Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed.
- In the event of a leaking battery, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Use only the cell or battery in the application for which it was intended.
- Remove the batteries during long periods of disuse to avoid possible leakage.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Keep the product away from heat sources. Do not place the product on hot surfaces or near open flames.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Do not immerse the product in water.

Electronic equipment needs to bear the CE mark in order to be marketed in the EU. CE marking shows that a product is assessed before being placed on the market and that it meets EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. CE marking is also sometimes accepted as a means of compliance with type-approval requirements; for example, electronic components that require type-approval and also CE marking for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or low-voltage equipment.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Installing the product (image B)

- Use only size AA batteries for this product.
1. Open the battery compartment A13.
2. Place 3 size AA batteries (not included) into A13.
- Make sure to match the (+) and (-) polarity markings.
3. Close A13.
Use
Using the product
1. Press the power button A 5 to switch the product on or off.
2. Speak into to the microphone A 1 to amplify your voice.
3. Press and hold the previous button A 6 to decrease the volume.
4. Press and hold the next button A11 to increase the volume.
Playing music
1. Press the music button A 4 to play music through the speaker A12.
2. Press and hold A 4 to emit a siren through A12.
3. Press A 4 again to switch off the music or siren.
Recording audio
1. Press the recording button A10.
- The power indicator LED A 2 blinks to indicate the product is recording.
- The maximum recording time is 120 seconds.
2. Speak into A 1.
3. Press A1 again to stop the recording.
4. Press the play button A 9 to play the recorded audio.
5. Press A 9 again to stop the playback.
Connecting with Bluetooth
1. Press and hold A 9 to switch to Bluetooth mode.
2. Pair with “ MEPH160BU ” in the Bluetooth interface of your mobile device.
3. Play music from the mobile device that is connected to the product via Bluetooth.
Playing mp3 audio
1. Insert a USB stick or microSD card into the corresponding port A 3, A8. (not included).
2. Press the play / pause button A 7 to play or pause a track.
3. Press A 6 to skip to the previous track.
4. Press A11 to skip to the next track.
Maintenance
- Clean the outside of the product using a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product does not operate correctly, replace it with a new product.
Warranty
Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
