INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The electric hot-air multi-purpose brush is intended for styling all types of hair. You will reach the best result by combination of drying and curling hair. Integrated ionizer creates negative ions which reduce occurrence of static electricity a help keep your hair in great condition. The construction of the appliance ensures a comfortable manipulation and perfect stylization of your hair.

I. SAFETY WARNING

-­ Before the first use, read the instructions for use carefully, look at the picture and keep the instructions for future use.
-­ Check whether the data on the type label correspond with the voltage in your socket
-­ This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.
-­ Before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
-­ Do not leave the appliance plugged in power supply without supervision!
-­ If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations
-­ Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged and it is leaking. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper
function.
-­ The appliance must not be sunk in water and it must not be let at places where it could fall into a bath tub or a wash basin. If the brush falls to water anyway, do not take it out! First of all unplug the power cord from the socket and only then take out the brush. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
-­ The appliance is intended for use in households only and for similar use! It is not designed for use in hair salons or for similar commercial use!
-­ Do not use the appliance close to water e. g. in containers, sinks, bath tubs, swimming pools, etc.
-­ Do not insert to or take out the plug from a socket with wet hands and do not pull the power cord!
-­ Do not let the appliance in operation without supervision!
-­ Do not put the appliance on hot heat sources (e. g. oven, stove, radiator, etc.).
-­ The appliance must not be used without accessories and for styling wigs, hairpieces or artificial hair.
-­ No part of the appliance can get in contact with places sensitive to heat (e. g. eyes, ears, neck ).
-­ Do not insert the accessories into any body holes.
-­ If the appliance is used in a bathroom, it has to be disconnected from the electric power by unplugging the power cord from the socket because it represents a risk close to water even if it is off.
-­ For additional protection we recommend installation of current protection (RCD) with the nominal release current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask a control technician or an electrician for advice.
-­ If the dryer was stored at lower temperatures, acclimatize it first, by which you remove stiffness of the lubricating fat in bearings and mechanical resistance of the plastic parts will be maintained.
-­ Holes for air ventilation must not be covered. Also, do not put the appliance on soft surfaces (e. g. bed, towels, sheets, carpet ), the hole could get covered. Penetration of dust, hair, threads, etc. to the duct has to be prevented.
-­ Do not insert or throw any objects to the holes.
-­ Be very careful when handling the adapters during drying (they can be hot).
-­ When the appliance is overheated, automatic heat fuse is activated and it disconnects power supply. If it happens, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the socket. Remove possible visible obstacles preventing air flow and let the appliance cool down.
-­ Disconnect the appliance from power supply right after use by unplugging the power cord from the socket and let it cool down before storage.
-­ The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire and it must not be sunk into water.
-­ Do not wind the power cord around the appliance; this will extend life of the power cord.
-­ If you need to use the extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.
-­ Never use the appliance for any other purpose than for that described in these instructions for use!
-­ The producer does not guarantee any loss caused by improper handling of the appliance and its accessories (e. g. electrical accident, fire, burn, hair damage ) and its guarantee for the appliance does not apply in the case of non-compliance with the safety instructions above.

III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Remove all packaging material and remove the brush with attachments. Press the arrest button A4 , slide on the desired attachment B on the propulsion unit A with a slight push and turn it till you hear a click. The correct position for sliding on the attachment is designated by the protrusions. Plug the fork of the power supply A8 into the el. socket. Switch the switch A1 either to position I (hot air) or position 2 (hot air). Turn the appliance off by switching the switch A1 to position 0. Remove the attachment from the propulsion unit by pressing the arrest button A4 and turning the attachment to position and pulling off. Pay special attention when changing attachments (they may be hot).

Use (not for B1 ) ­- for slightly wet hair, never wet hair. Moisten dry hair slightly. Before using the hair brush, comb the hair so that it is not dishevelled. For more permanent effect you can use styling mousse. When styling hair, never wind very thick hair locks on the brush. Let hot air take effect on the hair till the hair is warm when touched. Then unwind the curls. Let the hairstyle cool down before any possible combing.

Hairstyle shaping and volume (attachment B2, B3, B4 )
Place a lock of hair on the round brush and lift the hair at their roots or move the brush over the hair to their ends and wind the hair in a desired direction, at most with 1,5 turns. Brush B3 enables you to remove it from hair once the hair has dried. Slide the spikes in by pressing the lever and then remove the brush from the hair.

Creating curls (attachment B5 )
Fix the hair lock to the tube with the moving clip, move to the ends of hair and then wind the lock in a desired direction with 2 ­- 3 turns.

Curling and straightening hair (attachment B6 )
Brush the hair against their growth direction so that the spikes of the brush touch the skin of the head. Turn the brush away from the head so that the hair lifts. Straightening hair: Move the brush slowly on the hair locks, comb them and smarm till dry.

CARE function
Press the A2 button and arrest it by pushing it in the direction of the arrow. The air flow temperature will decrease which will allow quick cooling and fixation of the hair when finishing styling. The function is be turned off simply by pushing the button in the opposite direction.

IV. MAINTENANCE

Turn off the appliance before any maintenance, unplug the power cord from power supply and let it cool down! Treat the surface of the drive unit with a wet and soft cloth. Clean the adapters with a suitable brush. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Maintenance includes mechanical cleaning only.

V. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for production of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal, hand them over at the special collection places where they will be accepted free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and human health, which could be the possible consequences of improper waste disposal. Ask for more details at the local authority or in the local waste collection site. Fines can be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation for good, after disconnecting it from power supply we recommend cutting off the power cord and in this way it will not be possible to use the appliance again.

More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by professional service!
Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to guarantee repair!
