Important Safety Instructions

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this equipment is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using the equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of injury including the following:

WARNING

  • Incorrect or excessive training may result in adverse health effects.
  • This equipment shall be assembled on a stable and level base.
  • Before exercising, check that no adjustment parts of the equipment are projecting. This could interfere with the user’s movement.

CAUTION Risk of injury!

  • Keep unsupervised children away from this equipment.
    The equipment is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are given supervision or instruction about use of the equipment by someone responsible for their  safety.

  • Before starting any exercise program, consult your doctor to determine if you have any medical or physical conditions that could put your health and safety at risk, or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your doctor’s advice is essential if you  are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or cholesterol level.

  • Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health.
    Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat and extreme shortness of breath, lightheaded, dizziness or feeling of nausea. If you do experience any of these conditions, you should consult  your doctor before continuing with your exercise program.

  • Equipment can tip over. Do not let children climb on or play with the equipment.

  • Keep body, clothing and hair free and clear of all moving parts.

  • It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of this equipment are properly informed as to how to use this equipment safely.

  • Be cautious when opening/closing (folding/unfolding) the product. Keep hands away from the folding mechanisms to prevent fingers from being trapped and pinched.

  • Only one person at a time should use the equipment.

  • Place the equipment on a level surface with sufficient clearance around it to mount, dismount and use it.

  • Donot use this equipment if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.

  • To avoid scratching the floor, assemble the equipment on a soft surface, such as a carpet.

  • Do not over-tighten the fasteners.

  • Regularly examine the equipment for wear and tear. Stop using the equipment at first sign of damage or if parts become detached.

  • Do not use power tools to assemble the equipment. Power tools may strip or damage the parts.

  • Always wear athletic shoes for foot protection while using the equipment.

  • Never exceed the maximum load capacity of 350 kg, including the user and weights.

  • Check that the adjustable mechanism is securely fastened when using different adjustment levels.

Intended Use

  • This equipment is designed for private, home use (class H) and is not intended for commercial use.
  • When using a barbell, we recommend to always exercise with a partner or someone who can assist you in case the weights become too heavy for you to lift on your own.
  • This equipment is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
  • Before exercising, check that the back support and seat are secure.

 For additional illustrated assembly steps, refer to the end of the written instructions.

  • This equipment should be assembled and maintained only by an experienced adult. If in doubt, consult a professional.

Before First Use

DANGER Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

  • Remove all the packing materials.
  • Remove and review all components before assembly,
  • Check the equipment for transport damages.

Training Tips

  • Before using the equipment to exercise, always perform stretching exercises to properly warm up. Start stretching from top to bottom, starting with the neck, shoulders and arms, then further down to the waist, hips and legs.
  • Check that the position of the equipment is set according to the intended exercise.
  • During training, always lift an appropriate amount. If you are unsure which weight to start with, pick a weight that you can lift comfortably for 12 to 15 times and then gradually increase the weight as needed.
  • The form of the exercise is more important than the amount of weight being lifted. For new exercises, use a lighter weight to learn the form before increasing the weight.
  • Never hold your breath while lifting weights. Holding your breath during weightlifting may cause you to feel lightheaded and dizzy.
  • After using the equipment to exercise, always perform stretching exercises to properly cool down, Do the same stretches as with warm up but hold the position for a longer period of time.
  • Never stretch to an extreme to prevent any injuries.
  • Never exercise excessively. After a training session, allow the body to rest and repair before training again.

Cleaning and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
NOTICE
For hygienic purposes we recommend to clean the equipment after every use.

  • To clean the equipment, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the equipment.

6.2 Maintenance
WARNING
Safety level of the equipment can be maintained only if it is examined regularly for damage and wear.

  • Check the components regularly to make sure all screws and bolts are tightened.
  • Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets.
  • Replace defective components immediately and/or keep the equipment out of use until repair.
  • Pay special attention to components most susceptible to wear.

Warranty & Service

  1. We grant 1 year warranty on the product commencing from the date of purchase against defects in manufacturing.

  2. Within the warranty period, we will correct any defects in materials or workmanship, either by repairing or replacing the complete equipment, as we may choose, free of charge.
    This warranty is valid to the original purchaser only.

This Warranty excludes, or does not apply or becomes void if:

  1. Damage is caused by improper use, abuse or excessive use outside the intended purpose.
  2. Normal wear or use as well as defects that have a negligible effect on the value or operation of the equipment.
  3. Repairs or product modifications have been carried out by unauthorized organization or persons and if original Symactive parts are not used.
  4. Consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of data or loss of income), nor compensation for activities done by yourself.
  5. The proof-of-purchase has been altered in any way or is made illegible.
  6. The model number, serial number or production date code on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible.
  7. The defect is caused by connecting peripherals, additional equipment or accessories other than those recommended in the user manual.
