Replacing Your Roomba® i Series and j Series Filter

Description

Our filters capture 99% of mold, pollen, dust mites, and pet allergens, so replacing it will keep your robot running at its best.

  1. On the back of your robot, press the bin release button which is marked with a trash bin icon and remove the bin from the robot.

  2. Open the bin door by pushing the release button with the same icon to empty any debris.

  3. Grab the sides of the old filter located on the left side of the bin, and discard.

  4. Now it’s time to clean the bin itself! Rinse the bin with warm water to remove any residual dust and debris. Make sure it is completely dry before putting back in your robot.

    • NOTE: The Bin is designed to be rinsed by hand only. It is not dishwasher safe and should only be cleaned by rinsing with warm water.
  5. Place the new filter in the bin, slide the bin into your robot, and let your robot get back to cleaning while you get back to everything else.
