Step 3: Afterwards, using a trim tool separate the rear trim panel by prying it upwards gently. Work along the seam to protect the plastic. The top portion of the panel clips release upwards, therefore, you need to pry upwards.

Installing Wire Harness

Step 1: Locate this brown plug and gray connector for the cigarette lighter outlet. This is found on the rear of the console on the backside of the trim panel that was just removed. Remove the gray connector by pressing the release tab inwards.

Step 2: Take the gray connector that was just removed and plug it into the black cylindrical plug on the Boost Auto Parts wire harness. BOOST-AUTO-

Step 4: Remove these four T15 screws from the center console. These screws can be discarded.

Step 5: Place your new wireless charger down on the center console. Make sure that the wire from the charger is guided through the hole. The buttons on the charger will face the rear of the vehicle.

Step 6: Utilizing the included four screws install them into the wireless charger. BOOST-AUTO-PARTS-2014-2019-GM-Wireless-Phone-

Notice: Over tightening the screws can damage the charging unit. It’s recommended to only use hand tools to prevent over torquing the screws.

Routing Wire Harness

Step 1: With the console lid lifted up, grab the harness from the rear of the console. Feed the small connector end of the harness through gab under the hinge. The wire needs to go under the hinge, otherwise the harness will be damaged. BOOST-AUTO-PARTS-2014-2019-GM-Wireless-Phone-

Step 2: Connect the small connector to the wireless charger.

Step 3: Reinstall the console lid trim panel. Tuck the wire harness to the same side that the wire comes through the hinge. Be careful not to pinch the wire harness. BOOST-AUTO-PARTS-2014-2019-GM-Wireless-Phone-

Turning Charger Off & On

When looking at the charger, the small circle in the middle is a press in style button. It sits slightly lower than the charger mat to prevent unintentional activations. This button is the only way to turn the charger off/on and is used to change modes.
Hold the button down for three seconds to turn the charger on or off. The red light will flash slowly before remaining off indicating the charger is off. BOOST-AUTO-PARTS-2014-2019-GM-Wireless-Phone-
