INTRODUCTION

This document will be covering the use and operation of Boost Auto Parts Wireless Power Fold Modules.
Boost Auto Parts Patent Pending Wireless Power Folding Modules allow you to add Power Fold/Power Extend Mirror Functionality to vehicles that did not come originally equipped with these features. The Boost Auto Parts Wireless Power Fold/Power Extend Modules eliminate the need to run wires from door to door by utilizing wireless communication, all while using factory controls for an OEM finish.

Disclaimer: The vehicle pictured in this document is a GMC but, this universal user guide applies to all vehicles equipped with Boost Auto Parts Power Fold/Power Extend mirrors (if equipped) compatible with Wireless Power Fold Modules.

Wireless Power Fold Operation

Step 1:
Select the left mirror button on the power adjust switch.

Step 2 : Activate the module by consecutively pressing Left, Left, Right, Right on the power adjust switch. The module will beep twice to indicate it has been activated.

Step 3 : With the module activated momentarily press Down on the power and adjust the switch to fold the mirrors in.

Disclaimer: When folding the mirrors, the passenger side may be delayed when a power fold is initiated. This brief delay is normal.

Step 4: With the module activated momentarily Press Up on the power and adjust the switch to fold the mirrors out.
Disclaimer: Once your mirrors are done folding, please wait 1 second before you start to extend or retract your mirrors (if equipped).

Step 5 : With the module activated press and hold Left on the power adjust the switch to extend the mirrors out (If mirrors are equipped with the power to extend).

Disclaimer: Holding the power extend/retract buttons after the mirror has fully extended or retracted will cause damage to the internals of the mirror.

Step 6 : With the module activated press and hold Right on the power adjust the switch to retract the mirrors in (If mirrors are equipped with the power to extend).

More Info:

  • When adjusting the drivers side mirror to the left, it is normal for the adjustment to be delayed. This is implemented to allow for activation of the module with the power adjust switch without moving the glass.
  • When folding or extending the mirrors, the passenger side may be delayed upon activation. This brief delay is normal.
  • The module can be deactivated with the command Left, Left, Right, Right, or by waiting 10 seconds for the module to automatically shut off. 3 fast beeps indicate the module has been deactivated.
  • The module must be deactivated to adjust the upper glass.

Module Feedback Description:

  • 2 fast beeps – module is activated.
  • 3 fast beeps – module is deactivated.
  • 1 long beep 1 + 1 short beep – Power extend/retract has been activated for longer than 6 seconds. Holding the power extend/retract buttons after the mirror has fully extended or retracted will cause damage to the internals of the mirror.

  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Changes or modifications made to this device that are not expressly approved by Boost Auto Parts LLC may void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This device must not be colocated or operated in conjunction with any other antenna , transmitter, or metal shielding.
