Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

Safety Instructions

  • Check whether the data on the type label corresponds with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug has to be connected to the properly connected and grounded socket according.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
  • Do not leave the appliance plugged into the power supply without supervision!
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician, or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly if it fell down and was damaged and if it is leaking. In this case, take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • The appliance is for household use only and must be used only for the purpose it was designed for. Not for commercial use.
  • Do not submerge the appliance or the heating plate into the water (not even partially). Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
  • Do not place the appliance in close range of heat sources such as grills, fireplaces, gas/electric ovens, burners, hot-air ovens, etc.
  • To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
  • Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning or storing.
  • Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged. Take it to an authorized service center for examination and repair.
  • Use the device only for the intended purpose.
  • Before switching on, ensure the slices of bread do not get jammed in the toaster slots. However, if this happens, unplug the appliance first and then take out the jammed bread slice.
  • Note the housing of the toaster will become very hot when used, especially in the area of the toaster slots. Please be careful not to be burned. Please only use the control knob, lever and button for operation.
  • Do not insert your fingers or metal objects like knives or forks into the bread slots.
  • Only use the appliance when it is horizontally placed on a suitable surface.
  • Do not toast the bread with wrapped aluminum foil.
  • Do not cover the bread slots while in operation.
  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning and maintaining.
  • Improper use or repair may cause a risk of danger. In case of misuse or incorrect handling or repair, no liability will be taken for possible damages.
  • The appliance is only designed for indoor use, not for outdoors using.
  • Keep the appliance away from walls, curtains, and other combustible materials during use.
  • Don’t place anything on the appliance besides baking bread.
  • Do not use near flammable materials or under this materials.
  • Do not operate through the external timer or remote control?

Instructions for Use

Before you start:
Before first use, it is suggested to have the appliance without bread operated with the control knob set to grade 7 and the lever in down position to remove the heating element protection finish. At this time, the appliance will smoke. This is normal. It is recommended to have good ventilation of air. After the first heating, let it cool down naturally before being used again.
Selecting the browning level

  • Grades Browning level
  • 1-2 Very lightly toasted or to warm,
  • 3 Lightly toasted,
  • 4-5 Well toasted,
  • 6-7 Very well toasted or for frozen bread.

Make toast

  • Plug the toaster into the power supply and place 1 or 2 slices of bread into the bread slots of the appliance.

  • Adjust the 7 – setting a timer to the desired level:
    1 = minimum level;
    7 = maximum level.

  • Press down the sliding lever P3, the toaster will start running automatically.

  • Bread slices will be ejected out and the appliance will shut down automatically when toasting is finished.

REHEAT FUNCTION
You can use the reheat facility if ready toasts got cold. Insert toast into the toaster and pull down the sliding lever. Press the reheat function button. The indicator will light up. The cold toast can be reheated in short time without over-browning.

DEFROST FUNCTION
Press defrost function button DEFROST to prolong the cooking time of frozen bread, thus the indicator light should light up

CANCEL BUTTON
Toasting can be reset anytime during toasting by pressing the CANCEL button. After use, leave the toaster to cool and then unplug.
Precautions
You should not use the toaster to toast slices of bread and warm buns/croissants at the same time

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance and have it cool down.
Clean away crumbs from the toaster:
Remove the crumbs from the browning slots and grids with the appliance not tilted. Then, slide out the tray, clean it and put it again into the appliance.
Outside cleaning:
Clean the outside of the appliance gently with a damp and soft cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Never use steel wire, abrasive cloth or other caustic cleaning agents, as they will damage the finish of the appliance.

Troubleshooting

The device is not working

  • Check that the mains connection cable is firmly plugged in.
  • Check the right function of the outlet. Test outlet with other electrical appliances.
  • Check the supply cord to ensure no damage is evident.
