OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Assembling the vacuum cleaner
NOTE
Always turn off the unit and disconnect the plug from the mains outlet prior
to mounting or removing accessories!
Accessories
-
Wet vacuuming nozzle
Serves as a spatula for vacuuming of liquids -
Slot nozzle
The combined slotted adapter is designed for vacuuming areas with difficult access, such as radiators, slots, corners, pedestals, spaces between upholstery, and so on. -
Nozzle with a brush
This nozzle is designed for furniture, upholstery, books, lamps, and so on.
Charging the accumulator
Before the first use, or after the accumulator is depleted, let the unit
charge for about 5,5 hours.
To charge the accumulator, place switched off unit in the charging base,
connect the power cord, and connect the adaptor to wall outlet.
If you want to preserve the accumulator‘s service life, charge it only after
it is depleted.
The service life is about 150–200 charging cycles.
Note: Charging indicator glows red if the unit is in the charging base,
and the connected adaptor is connected to a wall outlet.
The time of operation of the unit after the accumulator is fully charged is
about 11 minutes. Using the vacuum cleaner
NOTE
The unit can be used for both dry and wet vacuuming.
Prior to using the vacuum cleaner, please make sure that the filter and the
water separator have been installed properly.
-
Take the unit out of the charging base.
-
Turn the unit on using the switch.
-
Use the wet vacuuming nozzle for wet vacuuming; it works as a spatula, and the unit sucks liquid when moving backwards. Move the unit very carefully to prevent the liquid getting into the motor. Do not shake or turn over the unit. The water separator just prevents the liquid from being sucked inside the motor, but it doesn‘t protect the motor from liquids (Fig. 1).
The maximum volume of sucked liquid is about 150 ml. When a larger volume is sucked in, the liquid starts running out of the nozzle. -
Release the switch after use, and the unit will turn off.
Checking the dust receptacle content level
If the suction power is decreased, or the dust receptacle is full, empty it
and clean the filter
MAINTENANCE
As a preventive measure, we recommend emptying the dust receptacle and cleaning the filter of the vacuum cleaner after each use.
Emptying the dust receptacle
- Disconnect the charging adaptor from the wall outlet.
- Hold the unit with the dust receptacle pointing downwards.
- Release the dust by pressing the pawl.
- Take out the water separator, and empty the dust receptacle.
- Follow the reverse procedure to put back the water separator and filter, and install the dust receptacle.
Cleaning and replacing the permanent filter
This filter can be cleaned by mechanical shaking and cleaning with a soft
brush. A heavily fouled filter can be washed after this step and cleaned with
a soft brush in lukewarm water. Do not use detergents.
It is important to let the wet parts dry thoroughly. A wet filter would be
damaged if used for vacuuming! Do not use a hair dryer for drying!
Note: Wet cleaning can cause more wear and tear of the filter, and a
correspondingly shorter service life.
- The filter should be cleaned or replaced whenever it is visibly fouled, or when the suction power decreases. The filter should be checked after each use of the vacuum cleaner.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner without a properly installed filter and water separator to avoid damage to the appliance.
- A suitable filter type is available at your local retailer, or it can be ordered from the manufacturer.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The vacuum cleaner and its accessories can be cleaned with a wet cloth.
Do not immerse the power cord, charging adaptor, or appliance into water or
any other liquid. Do not use aggressive substances for cleaning, such as
solvents or abrasives!

WARRANTY TERMS
Warranty
The manufacturer (or importer) is responsible for en-suring the product
complies with the requirements of applicable legal regulations as well as
those of the rel-evant technical standards. Moreover, they are respon-sible
for ensuring the product has the properties the manufacturer described in
documents related to the goods or those reasonably expected by the customer
with regard to the nature of the goods or based on advertising produced by the
manufacturer, and fur-ther they are responsible for ensuring the product is fi
t for the purpose proposed by the manufacturer or that a product of the same
type is normally used for.
The quality warranty term is 24 months from product takeover by the customer.
In terms of these warranty conditions, a defective accumulator is an
accumulator that is electronically malfunctioning (i.e. it does not
communicate with the basic unit, its charging or discharging circuits are
faulty, etc.) or has an internal short-circuit.
Defects or changes of parameters resulting from nor-mal use and/or wear (e.g.
natural decrease in capac-ity) are not, in any event, considered to be defects
in terms of warranty.
The warranty for the accumulators is granted for 6 months. In terms of these
warranty conditions, an ac-cumulator has the nature of consumables. For
details, see “Consumables”.
Consumables
For consumables (batteries, etc.) we guarantee the maintenance of technical
parameters for 6 months, unless the product has been damaged as a result of
improper use or its service life has expired. The warranty does not apply to
wear and tear caused by regular use. The customer shall not be entitled to any
warranty claims if, prior to taking the product over, they knew the product
contained a defect or if the defect is attributable to the customer.
The warranty specifi cally does not apply:
- if the product installation, operation and service conditions stipulated in the product operating manual have not been adhered to,
- to malfunctions caused due to mechanical, heat or chemical damage, short circuit, over voltage or incorrect installation,
- to malfunctions caused by an inexpert third-party intervention,
- to malfunctions caused by natural disaster,
- to malfunctions caused by insuffi cient or inappro-priate maintenance in violation of the operating manual, including malfunctions caused by water and other sediments,
- to changes in colour of the heating surface or to scratching of the surface caused as a result of us-ing the products in an unusual manner,
- to appearance and functional changes caused by exposure to sunlight, thermal radiation of water and other sediments,
- if the service life of certain product parts expires, e. g. for accumulators, bulbs, etc.
The warranty does not apply to any products and ser-vices provided along with the product (gifts, promo-tional articles, etc.).
Filing a complaint
A complaint against a product defect must be fi led as soon as identifi ed,
yet no later than before the end of the warranty term.
The customer must fi le a product complaint with the dealer from which they
have purchased the pro-duct, or with any authorised service centre, a list of
which is included in the product package, or available at www.my-
concept.com.
While fi ling a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and
securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an
authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in
person.
The customer must submit proof of having conclud-ed a purchase contract for
the product by producing the receipt. While fi ling their complaint, the
customer must indi-cate the noted defect and identify the preferred com-plaint
application method.
Complaints processing
As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the
defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis.
Where such a procedure is not reasonable with re-gard to the nature of the
defect, the user may require to be supplied a new defect-free product
(replace-ment), or, where the defect applies to a part of the product only,
replacement of the part concerned. However, if replacement of the product or
any part thereof is not proportionate with regard to the nature of the defect,
especially if the defect can be removed without undue delay, the customer has
the right to have the defect removed free of charge.
If the noted defect is not removable, or if the custom-er becomes entitled to
replacement of the product or a part thereof, yet the replacement is not
possible, for example due to the product having been sold out, the customer
has the right to return the product (withdrawal from the contract).
The customer shall have the right to a new product (re-placement) or to
replacement of a part of the product even if the defect can be removed,
provided they can-not properly use the product due to repeated occur-rence of
the defect or due to a high number of such de-fects. In such a case, the
customer also has the right to return the product (by withdrawing from the
contract).
If the product is not returned (the customer does not withdraw from the
contract), or if the customer does not apply the right to a new defect-free
product (replacement), to replacement of a part thereof or to repair of the
product, they may request a reasonable discount. The customer also has a right
to a reason-able discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to
them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless
the situation is remedied within a reasonable time limit, or if rem-edying the
situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer.
