Operation

Charging
Please fully charge the EP400 before first use or ifleft unused for a long period of time.
Please use the USB cable provided to charge the headset. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable to the Pogo Pin of the headset. The LED is constantly on red while charging.
When the headphones are fully charged, the LED indicator will be green.
Note: Please DO NOT use the headphones when charging.

Power On/ Off
Please press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to tum the headphone on. The LED light flashes in red and blue.
Please press and hold the Pawer button for 3 seconds to tum the headphones off. The LED light flashes in red once then turns off.

Bluetooth Mode/ MP3 Mode
With the headphones turned on, press the power button twice to switch between Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode.
Note: MP3 mode cannot be switched without music files on the internal memory card.

Bluetooth Connection
For the first time use, the headset will enter the Bluetooth pairing status after being powered on properly and the LED indicator will flash red and blue. To pair the headset, please select the EP400 in Bluetooth settings on mobile device’s and click on it to connect.
The LED indicator will flash blue after Bluetooth is connected and will turn off during music playback.
To connect a new mobile device, disconnect the EP400 or disable Bluetooth in the Bluetooth settings of the current device, then select the EP400 on the new device.

Multipoint
The EP400 supports Bluetooth multipoint function allowing automatic switching between two mobile devices after successful pairing.
To connect dual devices at the same time:

  •  Please select EP400 in the system settings on one mobile device to connect, then disable the Bluetooth function on the mobile device.
  •  Once disconnected, Select EP400 in the system settings of another mobile device to connect.
  •  Restart the EP400 and leave the Bluetooth function on for both paired mobile devices, the ep400 will automatically connect to both devices.

Music Download (MP3 Mode)

As an MP3 music player, the EP400 is equipped with 16GB internal memory.
Please attach the headphones to the USB port of the computer with the provided magnetic cable while the EP400 is powered on. Once the USB drive icon is displayed on your computer, the music files can be downloaded or edited from the internal memory card.

Troubleshooting

  • Unable to switch to MP3 mode
    MP3 mode cannot be switched without music files on the internal memory card.

  • No sound in MP3 mode
    Please check that the volume is turned up.

  • The headset does not charge or transfer data
    Please check that there are no foreign objects on the headphones’ magnetic connection or the charging cable. Please wipe them clean and try again.

  • Whether to support wearing in the shower and while swimming
    Showers and swimming are supported with a recommended water depth of no more than I. 5 metres.
    Note: Do not wear while using hot water.

Warranty

This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be either replaced or ‘ – repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer available or repairable.
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  •  The warranty is only valid within the country where the product is purchased.
  •  The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance to the instructions given in this user manual.
  •  The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
  •  The warranty only covers the main unit, and does not cover the accessones.
  •  The warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident and natural disaster.
  •  The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or has been damaged by inexpert repairs. The manufactures disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
  •  Please consult our customer adviser before returning any product; we are not responsible for any unexpected product returns.
  • Any faulty product must be kept and returned in the original packaging with all the accessories and the original copy of the purchase receipt.

The warranty is in addition to, and does not diminish, your statutory or legal rights.
