Operation
5.1 Charging
– Please fully charge the MB330 before first use orif left unused for a long
period of time.
– To charge, use the USB-C charging cable provided to connect the MB330 to a
powered USB port.
– Ensure the output voltage from the USB port or charger is 5V/2A.
Charging voltage greater than 5V may damage the radio.
– The battery charging indicator lights red while charging and lights green
when the unit is fully charged.
– Unplug the USB cable from the MB330 once the battery is fully charged.
Notes:
- Charging time will vary if you are listening to music while charging the internal battery. We recommend you switch off the speaker power during the charging process.
- Rechargeable batteries need to be used for maximum performance and longer battery life. If you don’t use the player that often, be sure to recharge the battery at least once a month in order to keep the internal battery working properly.
Battery Note and Care
- Do not burn or bury batteries.
- Do not puncture or crush.
- Do not disassemble.
- Li-ion batteries must be recycled. Do not dispose of in the trash.
- Use only chargers rated for Li-ion cells. Be sure the charger’s voltage and current settings are correct for the battery pack being charged.
- Charge batteries on a fireproof surface and away from flammable items or liquids. Batteries should NEVER be left unattended while charging. Only adults should charge the batteries.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging the product and do not charge longer than recommended. Unplug the charger when the battery is charged or not in use.
5.2 Power On/ Off/ Standby
- Press and hold button for 2 seconds to power on the MB330, the display will light and ‘Welcome to Digital radio’ shows on the display.
- Press the MODE button to select different operating modes: DAB, FM, Bluetooth or Aux.
- Press and hold button for 2 seconds when radio is on to turn the MB330 into Standby mode.
- During the Standby mode, press button to switch the radio back to working mode.
- Press and hold the button for 2 seconds during standby mode, the unit will power off.
Notes:
- The time and date can be updated automatically. With auto-update, the time and date are automatically synchronized with national time signals broadcast over DAB and FM (when available).
- ECO design: the unit turns to Standby mode automatically if itis not providing the main functions or inoperative for the intended use for about 15 minutes during any operating mode (except for FM mode).
5.3 DAB/DAB+ Radio
DAB radio mode receives DAB/DAB+ digital radio and displays information about
the station.
5.3.1 Auto Scan
-
Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
-
Press the MODE button to select DAB mode.
Note: for the first time use or if the station listis empty, the radio automatically performs a full scan to see what stations are available, the display shows the scan progress and the total channel number during the scanning. -
When the scan process is completed, it will then set the time and start playing the first station on the station list it finds.

To change the station, press “ ” or “ ” buttons to scroll through the list of stations. The Playing screen is displayed with the new station details.
-
If no stations are detected during the scan the display will show “No DAB Station”.
Notes:
You may also need to start a scan manually to update the list of stations for
one of the following reasons:
New stations may become available from time to time.
Stations close or can no longer be received.
If you have poor reception of some stations causing the audio to break up, you
may wish to list only stations with good signal strength.
How to re-do a full scan
To re-do a full scan, you can press Scan button or long press the MENU button
to show the menu and then press the /OK button to select “Scan”.
5.3.2 Manual Tune
you can also manually tune to a particular channel/frequency.
This can be useful for adjusting your antenna to achieve the best possible
reception and scanning a particular channel to update the station list.
- Press and hold MENU button and then press “ ” or” ” to show the submenu: Manual tune, press the /OK button to enter.
- Press “ “or” “to display a particular channel/frequency, press / OK button to tune to that channel/frequency.
5.4 FM Radio
FM radio mode receives analogue radio from the FM band (87.5-108MHz) and
display RDS (Radio Data System) information about the station.
- Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
- Press the MODE button to select FM mode.
- Press and hold the ” ” or “ ” button to search the station, it will then stop automatically at the first station it finds.
- Press” “or” ” button to tune the radio up or down in 50KHz steps for fine tuning.
Notes:
If the reception is too weak and there is noise on the received station, try
to improve the reception by changing the position of the telescopic antenna.
5.5 AUX-In Mode
Aux In mode plays audio from an external source via 3.5mm audio jack such as
an MP3 player.
- Use the 3.5mm audio cable provided and plug into the headphone or line out jack on your player, plug the other end of cable into the AUX-IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Press the MODE button to select AUX mode.
- Turn on the external audio source and play your music.
- The volume level can now be controlled both on the MB330 and your own device.
Notes:
If you are connected to the AUX out jack of an external device then you will
only need to adjust the volume control on MB330.
If you are connected to the headphone jack of an external device, then you may
need to adjust both the volume control on the external device and the volume
control on MB330 to find the best volume setting.
5.6 Bluetooth Mode
MB330 offers you to connect a Bluetooth enabled device. The functional radius
is limited up to 10 metres depending on the surroundings and the unit used.

Press MODE button on MB330 to select & enter Bluetooth mode, “Bluetooth Pairing” is shown on the display. It shows that this unit is available to pair with other devices.

Activate Bluetooth on the compatible device, and set it to search for compatible devices.

Select the speaker name ‘MB330′ from the list of found devices.
Note:
Only one Bluetooth device can be connected to the MB330 at one time. If the speaker is already connected to another device, the MB330 will not appear in the available Bluetooth devices list.
If pairing has been carried out successfully, a voice prompt will be heard, meanwhile, “Connected” will be shown on the display. -
Press /OK button to pause or resume playback.

Press ” ” button to move to next track, or press ” ” button to the previous track.
Notes:
- If there is an existing connection, press and hold the SCAN button for 2 seconds to disconnect the current device and enter pairing mode.
- If a mobile phone on which you are playing music receives a call, the music will be interrupted. The sound however is not played back via the speaker. After you have ended the call, the devices are connected to each other again and playback continues.
- The player will be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the operational range. If you want to reconnect your device to this player, place it within the operational range.
- If the device is moved beyond the operational range, when it is brought back, please check if the device is still connected to the player.
- If the connection is lost, follow the instructions above to pair your device to the player again.
5.7 System Settings
Press and hold MENU button during DAB, FM, Aux or Bluetooth mode. Press” ” or
” ” button” to select System submenu.
Press /OK button to enter the System setting submenu.
5.7.1 Backlight
Select and enter the Backlight submenu, press” ” or ” ” button to select then
press /OK button to set the Timeout (Always On/10/20/30/45/60/90/120/ 180
seconds), Level (High, Medium and Low).
Note:
The dimming timer only works when it is switched on. In standby mode, dimming
always takes place after approx. 10 seconds.
5.7.1.1 Clock Time
The time and date can also be set manually. Select and enter the Time/ Date
submenu, press ” ” or ” ” button to select then press /OK button to confirm
the setting.
Note: The time and date will be reset by default after the device is
powered off and rebooted. Please turn the radio on and the date will
automatically update when a channel is tuned.
5.7.2 Alarm

During any operating mode, press and hold MENU button, then press ” ” or ” ” button to select the “Alarms” submenu then press /OK button to confirm.

Press /OK button again to start to set the “Alarm 1” parameters.
– On time — hours and minutes
-Source —DAB | FM | BUZZER, If DAB or FM is chosen as the audio source you will also be prompted to select the last played station.
– Repeat Mode — Once | Daily | Weekends | Workday, choose the days on which the alarm is active.
– Alarm Volume — from “0″ to “20”, choose the maximum volume level on which the alarm is active. The alarm will be muted when the alarm volume set at “0”. -
Please use these instructions for “Alarm 2″ settings if required
Note:
To ensure that the alarm works properly, make sure the MB330 has full battery after setting the alarms.
5.7.3 Sleep Time
- Select and enter the Sleep submenu, press ” ” or ” ” button to adjust the sleep delay time in minutes from: Off/ 15/ 30/ 45/ 60/ 75/ 90/ 105/ 120.
- Press /OK button to confirm the setting, the sleep icon “(“.
5.7.4 EQ Effects
Select and enter the EQ submenu, press ” ” or ” ” button to select (Normal/
Classic/ Pop/ Jazz/ Rock/ Flat/ Movies/ News ) then press /OK button to
confirm the setting.
5.7.5 Languages
Selectand enter the Language submenu, press ” ” or ” ” button to select
(English/ Italian/ French/ German/ Spanish/ Polish/ Danish ) then press / OK
button to confirm the setting.
5.7.6 Factory Reset
The factory reset will clear all user settings replacing with the original
defaults, all DAB/FM station list and presets will be erased as well. If you
are sure to do Reset, please confirm by selecting “Yes”.
5.7.7 System Version
Press and hold MENU button, then press ” ” or ” ” button to select SW version
then press /OK button to display the current software version.

Troubleshooting

Warranty
This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be either replaced or repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer available or repairable.
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- The warranty is only valid within the country where the product is purchased.
- The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance to the instructions given in this user manual.
- The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
