- Do not leave discharged batteries in the remote control, they can leak and cause material damage.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Do not expose the remote control to knocks and blows. Do not expose the remote control to water or any other liquid.

USE
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
- Open the battery compartment by pressing in the catch and lifting off the cover.
- Insert two new batteries with the polarity shown in the battery compartment.
- Replace the cover and press in place.
PROGRAMMING OF REMOTE CONTROL FOR TV
There are five different methods to programme the remote control for television.
Programming with code input
- Switch on the television to be controlled with the remote control. Hold the remote control in front of the television at distance of no more than 1 metre.
- Press the buttons 0 and® on the remote control at the same time until the red light goes on.
- Enter the 4-digit code for the television (see enclosure B).
- The light in the button 0flashes twice and then goes out.
- Press the button @and check that the television switches off. If the television does not switch off, repeat steps 2-4 above and enter another of the 4-digit codes for the television brand and try to switch it off again. Repeat until the television switches off.
NOTE:
- If there are several codes for television, try the codes one by one and use the one that controls the most functions on the television.
- If no buttons are pressed in 30 seconds from when the red light in the button 0 goes on, or if something other than the digit buttons is pressed, the light in the button @goes out and the programming process is interrupted.
Controlling the programming
When the remote control is programmed with the correct code, check that the buttons control the television functions correctly.
Corredion
If one or more of the buttons do not control the functions correctly they can be programmed individually with the learn function.
Code programming with manual search
- Switch on the television to be controlled with the remote control. Hold the remote control in front of the television at distance of no more than 1 metre.
- Press the buttons on the remote control at the same time until the red light goes on.
- Press the button repeatedly until the television switches off. The light in the button 0 flashes once every time[;] or EJ is pressed.
- When the television switches off the remote control has found the correct code for the television.
- Press the button OK to store the code. The light in button 0 goes out.
NOTE:
- In step 3 I can be pressed until the television switches off.
- Release the button immediately when the television switches off, otherwise the remote control will continue with the next code.
- Press the button I;! to search forward and to search back in the remote control’s
code list. It can take several minutes to browse through all of the remote control’s code list. The search function stops automatically when all of the code list has been browsed.
Controlling the programming
When the remote control is programmed with the correct code, check that the buttons control the television functions correctly.

If one or more of the buttons do not control the functions correctly they can be programmed individually with the learn function.
Code programming with automatic search

Switch on the television to be controlled with the remote control. Hold the remote control in front of the television at distance of no more than 1 metre.

Press the buttons on the remote control at the same time until the red light goes on.

Press the button.

The light in the button 0flashes red to show that the remote control is searching for the correct code for the television.

The television switches off when the remote control has found the correct code.
NOTE:
Press the button OK immediately when the television switches off, otherwise the remote control will continue to the next code. -
The code is stored when the button OK isC pressed. The light in the button 0 goes out.
NOTE:
The automatic search can be interrupted without finding the correct code for the television. In which case the light in the button stops 0 flashing without the television switching off. It can take several minutes to browse through all of the remote control’s code list.

buttons control the television functions correctly.

Code programming with brand search
- Switch on the television to be controlled with the remote control. Hold the remote control in front of the television at distance of no more than 1 metre.
- Press the button 0 at the same time as the digit button from o to 9 that corresponds to the television brand in accord a nee with the I ist in enclosure A. Release the button when the light goes on.
- After 2 seconds the light in the button 0 will start to flash.
- When the television switches off, press the button OK to store the code in the remote control.
NOTE:
- Press the button OK immediately when the television switches off, otherwise the remote control will continue to the next code.
- The automatic search can be interrupted without finding the correct code for the television. In which case the light in the button 0 stops flashing without the television switching off.
Controlling the programming
When the remote control is programmed with the correct code, check that the buttons control the television functions correctly.

If one or more of the buttons do not control the functions correctly they can
be programmed individually with the learn function.
Programming of other appliances
Other appliances such as DVD players, video recorders, satellite receivers
etc., can be programmed in accordance with the instructions in the previous
section.
NOTE:
Lists of all the available appliance codes can be found in the enclosures.
LEARN FUNCTION
The remote control’s learn function is used to program one button at a time to control the relevant appliance in the same way as with the original remote control. An example of learn programming of CBL appliances is given below:
- Press the button <GD once.
- Press the learn button© for 3 seconds until the light in the button (G) goes red.
- Hold the original remote control for the CBL appliance pointed at the universal control at at a distance of 3-5 centimeters with the infrared transmitters pointing at each other.
- Press the button for the function to be learned on the original remote control until the light in the button starts flashing on the universal remote control. Release the button.
- Press the button for the function to be learned and programmed. The light in the button (G) goes red to show that the function has been learned. Repeat steps
- 5 to learn additional button functions. If no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds the red light will flash 2 times and go out.
- Press the learn button© to store programmed button functions. The red light in the button GD goes out.
NOTE:
- If the remote control is programmed with a new appliance code all the learned programming button functions will be lost.
- All buttons except for the MACRO button and the buttons for the type of appliance can be programmed with the learn function.
Controlling the programming
When the remote control had been programmed with the learn function, check
that the CBL appliance is correctly controlled.
Corredion
If one or more of the buttons do not control the functions correctly they can be programmed again in accordance with the instructions above.
NOTE:
Other appliances can be learn programmed in accordance with the
instructions above. Press the button for the actual type of appliance.
DELETION OF LEARNED DATA FOR A BUTTON
- Press the button for the type of appliance TV/DVD/VCR/SAT/CBL/AUX at the same time as the button@.
- Enter the digits 9910.
- Press the button data for which data is to be deleted. The light flashes two times and the data for the button is deleted.
- Repeat for other buttons for which data is to be deleted.
- Press the learn button© to finish.
DELETION OF LEARNED DATA FOR AN APPLIANCE
- Press the button for the type of appliance TV/DVD/VCR/SAT/CBL/AUX at the same time as the button@.
- Enter the digits 9920.
- All the learned data for the appliance is deleted.
- The light in the button for the type of 5. For o the light flashes quickly 10 times. appliance flashes twice and then goes out.
DELETION OF LEARNED DATA FOR ALL APPLIANCES
- Press any button for the type of appliance TV/DVD/VCR/SAT/CBL/AUX at the same time as the button@.
- Enter the digits 9930.
- All the learned data for all appliances is deleted.
- The lights in the buttons for the type of appliance flash twice and then go out.
FACTORY RESET
- Press any button for the type of appliance TV/DVD/VCR/SAT/CBL/AUX at the same time as the button@.
- Enter the digits 9990.
- The remote control is reset to default settings.
- The lights in the buttons for the type of appliance flash twice and then go out.
CHECKING CODES
Used to check the four-digit code stored for a specific appliance. Follow the instructions below:
- Press the button for the actual type of appliance.
- Press the button® and press one of the buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 at the same time.
- Release the buttons.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes the corresponding number of time.
- The light in the button for the type of 5.
The following is an example for the code 1029
- Press the button® and press the number button 1.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes once.
- press the button@ and press the number button 2.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes quickly 10 times.
- Press the button® and press the number button 3.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes 2 times.
- Press the button@ and press the number button 4.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes 9 times.
VOLUME CONTROL FOR TV
Depending of the type of appliance the volume Depending of the type of appliance the volume
- To activate this function press the button for the type of appliance TV/DVD/VCR/SAT/CBL/ AUX at the same time as the button@.
- Enter the digits 9940.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance goes on.
- Press the button 0 once to activate the function.
- Enter the digits 9941 to deactivate the function.
- The light in the button for the type of appliance flashes twice and then goes out.
TRANSPORT BUTTONS FOR SEVERAL APPLIANCES
When this function is activated the functions PLAY, REW, FF, REC, STOP and PAUSE can be used on other appliances when the remote control is in television mode. To activate the function:
- Press the button 0 and the button @at the same time.
- Enter the digits 9950.
- The light in the button ®flashes twice.
- Press the button for the type of appliance to be controlled.
- enter the digits 9951 to deactivate the function.
- The light in the button ®flashes twice and then goes out.
CHILD LOCK
This function is used to prevent children using the appliance. Follow the instructions below to activate or deactivate the function:
- Press the button OK for about 7 seconds to activate.
- The light flashes twice and then goes out. Only the buttons for learn and checking codes can be used.
- Press the button EXIT for about 7 seconds to deactivate.
- The light flashes twice and then goes out.
GENERAL
The remote control can control up to 6 appliances of the following types:
TV appliances
DVD players and videocassette recorders etc.
DVD players and videocassette recorders etc.
DVB-T, CBL, SAT (satellite receivers) and STR (streaming of video, media etc.)
DVB-T, CBL, SAT (satellite receivers) and STR (streaming of video, media etc.)
Amplifiers, audio devices, speakers, CD players, HiFi devices, home cinema
Point the universal remote control at the appliance to be controlled at a
distance of about 60 to 100 cm.
NOTE:
The remote control only works together with the correct television code.
The remote control cannot be programmed for the television if the code for the
television is not included in the instructions.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the remote control with a dry cloth.
